Proud Mary: Taraji P. Henson Takes No Prisoners as a Fierce Female Assassin
If you thought Empire's Cookie Lyon was fierce, just wait until you see Taraji P. Henson's newest role. The trailer for Proud Mary dropped on Thursday, and to say it's explosive would be an understatement. As the title track by Creedence Clearwater Revival plays in the background, Henson's leather-clad character gets ready for her typical day, which includes the usual activities of being a deadly assassin. You can catch all the action when the film hits theaters on Jan. 12, but until then, enjoy this sneak peek.
