» Starbucks's New Iced Tea Drink Tastes Exactly Like a Piña Colada!
Starbucks recently gave us delicious tea infusions that are a permanent addition to the menu, but to take the drinks up a notch, the coffee house also gave us a new way to enjoy them: as a piña colada! This new drink, called the Piña Colada Tea Infusion ($3-$4), is a twist on the Teavana Shaken Iced Pineapple Black Tea Infusion. The iced beverage starts with Teavana black tea, gets a pineapple fruit and botanical blend, and is finished with a splash of coconut milk.
The new drink lands in all US and Canadian Starbucks stores today and is also a permanent addition to the menu, just in time to keep enjoying during the hot Summer months. The new teas - including Teavana Shaken Iced Peach Citrus Tea Infusion and Teavana Shaken Iced Strawberry Green Tea - are fully customizable, which means there's something for everyone. You can adjust the sweetener level or add a splash of lemonade. Dare I say you could even add coconut milk to one of the other flavor options to come up with your own tropical concoction?
