Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One Adaptation Looks Phenomenal
Steven Spielberg is adapting Ernie Cline's 2011 novel Ready Player One, and the first trailer is a whirlwind through pop culture. Tye Sheridan (X-Men: Apocalypse) is starring as Wade Owen Watts, a member of the "Missing Millions," a generation that has no where to go but the OASIS, a virtual world where you can walking amongst every figure from movies and TV - from the Iron Giant to Freddy Krueger. This Comic-Con trailer is really just an introduction to this futuristic world; we'll see plenty more before the movie is released on March 30. T.J. Miller, Ben Mendelsohn, and Simon Pegg are all costarring in the adaptation!
