Since math class is competing with fun subjects like art or science, it's not surprising how many kids aren't overly enthused to pull out their homework and start crunching numbers. But with some of the nontraditional numerical assignments kiddos are expected to do (we're looking at you, Common Core!), it's more understandable than ever why some children detest math before they even make it to algebra or geometry class.
