» This $200 Kitchen Transformation Is Beyond Dramatic
Like a bad hair day, a bad kitchen casts an icky shadow over everything. Blogger Kate of House Mix couldn't stomach the salmon color of the kitchen in her new house and the dark cabinets "plagued" her every time she looked at them. Needing to overhaul the aesthetic of her kitchen quickly and affordably for the sake of her mental health, she turned to paint.
Kate painted her entire kitchen for a dramatic makeover. And when we say entire, we mean she painted every inch, including the walls, cabinets, and backsplash - how brilliant is it to simply paint over dated tile rather than rip it out and replace it?! The kitchen looks completely different and the total cost was just a mere $200! "It didn't require much skill or muscle, just patience and time," Kate said on House Mix.
