This Fierce Drag Queen Disney Makeup Look Just Won Halloween
July is a great month for beauty junkies. There are monster sales, Fall launches, and brighter-than-ever rainbow hair. But perhaps the best part of midsummer is the fact that we're getting closer to Halloween. And if you're like us, it's never too early to start workshopping costume ideas.
Of course, one of our favorite places to find such inspiration is Reddit, and user thelucyfurr is speaking our love language with this latest post. That's because thelucyfurr has totally transformed into the iconic Disney villain Yzma from The Emperor's New Clothes. Just take a second to let this fierceness wash over you.
So good, right? And those lashes!? This look left thelucyfurr with "bloodshot eyes for 2 days," because an artist must suffer for their work. (Also because the lashes were made by gluing cardboard to the model's eyes).
Luckily for us, this post came with a beauty breakdown, and even better still is that many of the products came from the drugstore. Thelucyfurr started contouring with Make Up For Ever's Flash Color Palette Multi-use Cream Color Palette ($99), which was then darkened with a Black Rimmel Shadow ($3). The purple glitter came courtesy of Starglazer $3, and the eyes were lined with an H&M Liquid Eyeliner Pen ($3).
While Yzma may have never liked Kronk's spinach puffs, we love this so much. We want to wear it for Halloween and also everyday because like Yzma, our inner divas know we're #worthit.
