Kerry Washington Just Showed Us How to Wear Pantone's Color of the Year
Kerry Washington looks stunning wherever she goes - and the Golden Globes were no exception. The Scandal star showed up with gorgeous waves and makeup in Pantone's Color of the Year: Ultra Violet.
Her hair was styled in a deep side part, and her voluminous beach waves cascaded past her shoulders, created by the Cerasilk Woven Ceramic Styling Iron ($115). The texturized look was both glamorous and sexy, a perfect complement to her sweet-looking makeup.
The star's makeup included vivid hues that made her brown eyes pop. Kerry wore Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine in Soft Mulberry ($9) and Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-in Primer in Cool Plum ($6) paired with long lashes that gave her a doll-eyed appearance. The purple hue was chosen by makeup artist Carola Gonzalez with a specific meaning in mind; the color represents "loyalty, purpose, and inserting steadfastness to a cause" to symbolize supporting woman's rights, a major theme of this year's Golden Globes.
