We Can't Tear Our Eyes Away From Rachel Brosnahan's Gravity-Defying Ballerina Bun
The Golden Globes red carpet was filled with a plethora of head-turning beauty looks, but Rachel Brosnahan's gorgeous getup certainly stood out among the sea of black dresses. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star, who took home the award for best comedy actress in a television musical or comedy, wore her hair in the most mesmerizing ballerina bun that immediately caught our attention.
Celebrity hairdresser Ted Gibson took the reigns with Rachel's locks, pulling them into an updo that was perfectly perched atop her head all evening. Nestled in her picture-perfect bun were three black rose-shaped embellishments that nearly blended in with her brown hair and perfectly matched the design of her black gown.
As for makeup, Rachel went for a fresh-faced, '60s-esque look with Laura Mercier products. Makeup artist Lisa Aharon began by prepping Rachel's skin with Perfecting Water Moisture Mist ($38) and her lips with Infusion de Rose Nourishing Lip Balm ($24). To master that flawless, glowing complexion, Lisa applied Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation ($48) and Candleglow Concealer and Highlighter ($32) to her skin, then used a foundation brush to pat a bit of Creme Cheek Colour ($25) in the Canyon shade over the apples and high points of her cheeks.
To achieve Rachel's smoldering eye makeup, she blended the Amethyst and Burnished Bronze shades of Laura Mercier's Caviar Stick Eye Color ($29) and followed it up with Long Lash Mascara ($26) and a bit of Longwear Crème Eye Pencil ($25) in Noir.
