» Melania Trump's Givenchy Cape Isn't Just Chic, It's Diplomatic
Melania Trump was a stylish caped crusader when she stepped out in an all-black ensemble. The first lady was snapped wearing a classic black Givenchy cape while welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, to a tree planting ceremony at the White House. Her shoes fit the Gallic theme, too: she sported classic Christian Louboutin pumps.
We think there's definitely a bit of fashion politics at play here. Wearing French when you're hanging out with the French? Très bien, Melania, très bien. Sadly, her gorgeous cape blazer is already sold out, but we've found some alternatives should you find yourself in need of a chic and diplomatic fashion solution.
