Amazon Is Trying to Make Shakespeare Cool Again With a Gripping Take on King Lear
This week, Amazon gave us a first look at their upcoming adaptation of King Lear! The classic Shakespeare play tells the tale of a king's slow descent into madness, and who better to take on the challenge than the one and only Anthony Hopkins? The trailer also offers a glimpse at some of the other exciting members of the talented cast: Emma Thompson, Emily Watson, and Jim Broadbent. Watch the trailer yourself to try to untangle the complex verses of Shakespeare, then perhaps take some time to study up - King Lear is available Sept. 28.
