This Showstopping Gown Was the Best Thing on TV Last Night
HBO's Sharp Objects has become one of the Summer's hottest shows thanks to the riveting storylines and the cast's powerhouse performances. While you're probably aware of what a fantastic job the show has done bringing the fictional town of Wind Gap, MO, to life, have you also noticed the show is producing some major fashion moments as well?
Patricia Clarkson's character, Adora Crellin, has been killing it since the very first episode. It makes sense that Adora is always dressed to the nines, as her character is obsessed with how her family is portrayed around town, but in episode five of the limited series she took her fashion game to the next level.
Adora throws an outdoor soirée for the town's annual Calhoun Day celebration and dresses perfectly for the occasion with a botanical-inspired lace dress by Temperley London that is embroidered with flowers, dragonflies, bumblebees, and more. While Adora might not be the best mother, we couldn't help but want to steal her garden party style.
