Rachel McAdams Posed in a Photo Shoot With Her Breast Pump, and Moms Everywhere Are Cheering

Rachel McAdams isn't a regular mom; she's a cool mom. After having a baby in April, the 40-year-old actress had to continue her life of red carpet appearances and photo shoots while experiencing the constant interruptions of feeding her new son. So even when she sat down with Girls. Girls. Girls. magazine for a cover shoot, pumping took priority.
Rachel posed for a powerful snap, decked out in glamorous Bulgari diamonds, a Versace jacket, and yes, her breast pump. The magazine's founder and photographer, Claire Rothstein, shared a photo from her shoot with Rachel and described the importance of normalizing this task that moms everywhere complete daily.
"A million reasons why I wanted to post this picture. Obviously Rachel McAdams looks incredible and was quite literally the dream to work with but also this shoot was about 6 months post her giving birth to her son, so between shots she was expressing/pumping as still breastfeeding," Claire wrote in the caption. "Breastfeeding is the most normal thing in the world, like breathing and I can't for the life of me imagine why or how it is ever frowned upon or scared of. I don't even think it needs explaining but just wanted to put this out there, as if it even changes one person's perception of something so natural, so normal, so amazing then that's great."
These photos of Rachel are a celebration of fashion, her talent, and motherhood. Keep reading to see even more beautiful shots from her Girls. Girls. Girls spread.
