Trader Joe's Has Peppermint Bark Popcorn Coated in White Chocolate AND Salted Caramel
Do you ever feel like Trader Joe's just gets you? Like when it releases a snack you've secretly been dreaming about? That's how I felt when I discovered the new Peppermint Bark Popcorn ($3). Two of my favorite foods are popcorn and minty things (peppermint bark, mint chocolate chip ice cream, York Peppermint Patties - you name it). So my eyes just about popped out of my head when I saw this holiday snack in adorable, just-festive-enough packaging. Kind of like a present, this popcorn has layers. It starts with a crunchy piece of popcorn, which is then coated in salted caramel, dark chocolate, and a thick layer of white chocolate before it's finished with crushed peppermint pieces. Eating it is a gift to yourself, really.
The popcorn is salty, sweet, cool, and creamy all at the same time. I always need one of those huge tins of cheddar and caramel popcorn during the holidays, and I'm definitely adding this to the lineup, too.
