Yippee Ki-Yay, Nine-Nine Fans - These Die Hard Trailers For Season 6 Are Simply Magnificent
If you weren't already excited about the season six premiere of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, these trailers will definitely do the trick. The NBC comedy, which originally aired on Fox, will return to the small screen on Jan. 10 courtesy of NBC, and the show has finally released a few trailers to get their fans excited. In them, Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) finally gets to live out his Die Hard fantasy as the cast reenacts the famous rooftop escape scene from the 1988 Christmas-action flick (don't @ me, it is a Christmas movie).
There's lots of dramatic phrasing, repelling off buildings, and a leap off a rooftop mid-explosion that would definitely not work in real life, so we don't recommend trying it at home. While the fantasy is the same in each video, they end on a different joke gag so both are definitely worth the watch. Check them out ahead and get ready for another season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine in the new year!
