» Excuse Us, but We're So Impressed by This Bachelor Contestant's Makeup Skills
On The Bachelor's first group date this season, Elyse Dehlbom won over fans (and Colton!) by sharing a story about her age. Colton gave her the group date rose, so why is Elyse saying she "can't accept a proposal" in the previews for future Bachelor episodes?
At the time of season 23's filming, Elyse was 31, putting her on the older end of the contestants' age spectrum. So when the ladies were asked to describe a "first" on their group date, she used her age to her advantage, admitting that The Bachelor marked the first time she was dating a younger man. (Colton is 26 during this season.) Colton was so impressed with her honesty and willingness to address her age head-on that he decided to keep her on for another week.
It seems like Colton is pretty intrigued by Elyse, or at least he was at first. So it's a bit baffling to see she will be having second thoughts in the trailer for the show's upcoming episodes. Then again, a lot can change in a short amount of time on The Bachelor.
Whatever's in store for Elyse and Colton's future, though, Elyse seems like a really unique person, and she's got a lot going for her. Here are a few things fans should know about the Arizona-based makeup artist.
