Idris Elba Had an "Awks" Run-in With Daniel Craig at the Golden Globes
Rumors have been circling for months suggesting Idris Elba is going to take over as James Bond after Daniel Craig hangs up his tuxedo, and at the Golden Globes, the two came face to face. Idris shared a photo of the momentous meeting on social media, tagging it "awks . . ." One fan joked that Idris seemed "both shaken and stirred" to be in the company of the current 007, but it was obviously all in good spirits, as that's definitely the beginning of a smirk on Daniel's face.
Daniel attended the awards alongside his wife Rachel Weisz, who was nominated for an award for her work in The Favourite, though he seemed to skip the red carpet, letting Rachel pose solo. Idris, meanwhile, was less shy of the cameras: not only did he present an award, he also took great delight in playing escort to his daughter Isan, who was this year's Golden Globes Ambassador. They were joined by his fiancee Sabrina Dhowre, who also shared the photo of Idris and Daniel, joking "Not to add to the fire but....play nice guys". It looks like the family had an amazing night hanging out with a whole host of stars.
