The Emotional Reason Behind Jaime King's Drastic Haircut
Jaime King now has a chin-length bob, but for her, this was more than just a cut to bring in the new year. The actress posted a picture on Instagram describing what her blunt chop meant to her: "LIBERATED ✨ 9 months of waiting for this moment. Thank you to my characters for giving me the vessel to heal by bringing you to life. Thank you for the Light that lifted layers of grief from the loss of my best friend Elizabeth Kemp. This is more than a look for me this is the process letting go... Brand new color for my new ✂️."
Kemp, an actress and acting teacher who coached King (along with many other celebrities like Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga), passed away from cancer in 2017. King went on to thank hairstylist Brant Mayfield for the cut and colorist Tracey Cunningham for her babylights.
