This Baby Had a "Graduation" to Celebrate Leaving the NICU, and the Photos Will Melt Your Heart

Bodie Blodgett's last day in the NICU was one for the books. On Jan. 9, the 2-month-old was discharged from the neonatal intensive care unit at Pittsburgh's UPMC Children's Hospital after spending 60 days there. To celebrate, his parents dressed him up in a cap and gown and threw him a mini graduation ceremony that's currently making me cry real tears.

According to People, Bodie was born prematurely before being diagnosed with Pierre Robin Sequence, a rare disease that causes infants to be born with a smaller than normal lower jaw. The newborn spent two months in the NICU recovering from jaw surgery and learning how to properly eat before he was finally able to go home with his family. In a video posted online, Bodie is seen being carried through the hospital by his mother on the day of his graduation, while nurses and doctors are clapping and cheering the family on to the tune of "Pomp and Circumstance."

The whole thing is too adorable for words and I dare you to try and make it through without cracking a smile. Read ahead to see a few photos that were taken during the moment.
