Being a pet parent is expensive before you even figure in the cost of getting your pet in the first place. For some people, adoption is the way to go, but for others, picking out a purebred puppy from a responsible breeder is the way they want to go. If you're puppy shopping from a breeder, though, and seeking an American Kennel Club certified pup, be prepared to shell out a good bit of cash, especially for breeds like Samoyeds, Tibetan Mastiffs, and Cavalier King Spaniels.
