SNL Sums Up the Injuries, Energy, and Excitement of Netflix's Cheer in a Superfunny Skit
It was only a matter of time before Saturday Night Live tried to tap into the fandom around Netflix's Cheer docuseries. On Jan. 25, the late-night show's cast teamed up with host Adam Driver to create their own parody version of the streaming service's breakout hit. The team is ready to go to Daytona, but who will make mat? Everyone, apparently, expect poor Cooper. Absurd injuries be damned! These athletes are in it to win it.
