It's Here! Billie Eilish Debuts the New James Bond Theme Song, "No Time to Die"
Forget being the "bad guy," Billie Eilish is taking her turn at being a Bond girl! Well, kind of. The Grammy winner dropped the theme song to the upcoming James Bond installment, No Time To Die, on Thursday.
On Jan. 14, the official Twitter account for the film made the announcement, revealing that Eilish and her frequent collaborator, older brother Finneas O'Connell, wrote the song together. Not only is this an exciting way to kick off the new year, but it also makes Eilish the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song!

No Time to Die doesn't hit theaters until April, but Eilish will be performing the theme song at the Brit Awards on Feb 18. Eilish previously shared her excitement for the project in a statement to Variety, saying, "It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I'm still in shock."
O'Connell added, "Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we've been dreaming about doing our entire lives. There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema than the likes of Goldfinger and Live And Let Die. We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007."
