This Floofy Alpaca Somehow Encapsulates Literally All of My Moods
Feeling a bit down in the dumps? In need of a pick-me-up - something to lift your spirits, distract you from the woes of the world, and give you a renewed sense of faith in humanity? I have just the answer, and his name is Alfie. An adorable alpaca who lives in Australia, Alfie's garnered more than 500,000 Instagram followers since making his social media debut in October 2018, and it's easy to see why. With a floofy face, adorable lil' smile, and gangly legs, he's perfected the art of posing for the cameras, always encapsulating my varied moods.
Sure, an alpaca may not be the most traditional house pet, but ever since Alfie's owners Jeff and Sophie bought him from an alpaca farm back in 2018, he's proven to be the perfect family addition. He lives in their grassy backyard, though he often goes inside to hang out near the couch, eat snacks, or walk down the stairs, and he even has "play dates" with others of his kind, including "Taco the Alpaco," another Instagram-famous alpaca in Australia.
Not that you should really need more motivation to slam that blue "follow" button on Alfie's Instagram page, but justttt in case you do, I've gathered some of his most meme-worthy moments ahead.
