This New Makeup Trend Makes Pops of Color So Easy - and I Created 3 Looks That Prove It
Colorful makeup can be a lot of things: fun, playful, expressive. It can also be intimidating and seemingly "over the top" - especially on an average day. I hear you and agree with all of the above. Luckily, there's a new makeup trend on the horizon, and it's closing the gap between the two sides of the argument. Enter clean color.
Used to describe looks that pair vibrant hues with an otherwise-neutral face, it's perfect for minimalists and makeup lovers alike. Whether you're a fan of liner, eye shadow, or blush, there are endless ways to interpret the trend.
As a longtime beauty girl, I've tried just about every buzzy look and product, but I was particularly intrigued by this one. I've always gravitated toward color - and am quick to adopt it in my wardrobe and home decor - but I've struggled to incorporate it into my regular beauty routine. And I know I'm not alone. With that in mind, I thought I'd give clean color a try and share my results with the internet.
