Elizabeth Warren Made Her SNL Debut With Kate McKinnon, and They're a Couple of Fighters

Please welcome the real Sen. Elizabeth Warren to Saturday Night Live! The Massachusetts politician and former presidential hopeful stopped by the NBC sketch comedy show on March 7 in a surprise cold open appearance. Although the skit focuses on news coverage of the coronavirus, you can skip ahead to 6:50 to see Warren steal the show.

"I'm doing just fine," Warren said, in reference to her dropping out of the 2020 race. "My friends and family have been so supportive. They've been calling nonstop, asking, 'Are you OK?' 'What do you need?' 'Were you electable?'"

Warren was then joined by her onscreen doppelganger, Kate McKinnon, for their official sign-off. "I wanted to put on my favorite outfit to thank you for all you've done in your lifetime," McKinnon said. ""I'm not dead, I'm just in the Senate," Warren joked back. Watch the video above to see the full skit and then make sure you check out their hilarious "Flip the Switch" challenge. It looks like these two have too much fun together.
