Nothing Will Prepare You For Katy Perry's Emotional Meeting With an Orlando Shooting Survivor
Following the tragic shooting at Orlando's Pulse nightclub in June, survivor Tony Marrero made a special appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, and to say it's emotional is a total understatement. After miraculously surviving multiple shots to the back during the shooting, Tony explained to the host that he managed to find strength by listening to Katy Perry's music, specifically her song "Rise." And since Ellen is basically the fairy godmother of surprises, she arranged for Katy to come out on stage and meet Tony. Not only did both of them to burst into tears when they saw each other, but Katy took it one step further by offering to pay for his first year at film school. Let's just say, you're definitely going to need some tissues for this one.

Movable tracksuits that slipped off the shoulder and bared hints of midriff were paired with heels, Kendall's in velvet and Kylie's in lucite.

A Pregnant Mom Got Help Soothing Her Crying Baby on a Flight From This Unexpected Stranger
When a pregnant mom boarded a plane with her toddler son, she probably knew it was going to be a difficult flight. What she didn't know was that she'd find support in one of the unlikeliest of places – from a complete stranger.
Instead of zoning out a crying child like so many passengers try to do, one man got up and helped. And Angela Byrd, another passenger, captured the moment on camera.
"On a flight back to Georgia, this man, who was a stranger to this woman, offered to help her because she was pregnant and alone on the flight and her son was upset and fussy," Byrd wrote in a post on the Everything Georgia Facebook page earlier this week.
So, what connected this man to this woman?
"He told her that he was a dad," she wrote. "He wanted to help her so she could rest. He walked the aisle most of the flight from Minneapolis to Atlanta comforting this woman's son as if he was his own. I was in tears . . . because it showed me today that there are still good people out there in a world full of turmoil."

While the two certainly have a busy schedule ahead with their upcoming visit to Canada, the source reveals that they would be willing to shorten their royal tours in 2017 should Kate become pregnant. You'll Swear Katie Holmes Is a Princess When You See Her in This Gown
When Katie Holmes stepped on the red carpet Wednesday night, the words "fairy princess" came to mind. Celestial beading and a full skirt took this dress beyond your typical event look, giving Katie a glow as she posed for photos. With a dress this spectacular, all you need is a simple finish, and Holmes expertly added just a pair of hoop earrings to offset her up-do. It may just be the prettiest Katie's ever look, and easily the loveliest of the night. Read on to see the stunning dress from all angles.
Michelle Obama's Favorite Outfit Is Something We Suspected All Along
With only a few more months left in the White House, the Obamas are making sure they go out with a bang - and a few stylish magazine covers, too. The president and the ever-so-stylish FLOTUS are the stars of Essence magazine's October issue, appearing on the cover in a suit and off-the-shoulder LBD, respectively. Michelle also appears alone in October's InStyle, rocking a chic green one-shoulder dress and accessorizing with large statement earrings.
While the interview for Essence focuses on the mark the family made over eight years - "I think when it comes to Black kids, it means something for them to have spent most of their life seeing the family in the White House look like them," Michelle said - the interview for InStyle is (naturally) more fashion-focused. The First Lady even shares her go-to look, aka something we kind of suspected all along. ""Very casual," she said. "No makeup, a T-shirt, and a pair of ripped jean shorts or workout pants because I'm always on the verge of going to or coming from [working out]." She also admits she loves color and "pieces that make me feel good, but it's much more informal."
Scroll through for more images of Michelle, then check out her favorite sneaker: Converse, of course.

Brad Pitt on Trump Supporters: "I Try to Understand Where They're Coming From"
We already knew that Brad Pitt was Benjamin Button-ing his way through life, but the 52-year-old is actually looking younger than ever in T Magazine. Brad landed a cover story in the Fall Men's Fashion issue, and in his accompanying interview, the Allied star shared his thoughts on the recent Brexit decision as well as controversial presidential nominee Donald Trump. "Man, I never thought that would happen," Brad said of the United Kingdom's vote to leave the European Union, adding, "Same way I can't bring myself to think that Trump will be in charge."
Brad, who was born and raised in the Midwest, continued, "Coming from Oklahoma, southern Missouri, which leans more toward a Trump voice, I try to understand it. It seems that the people who suffer the most end up betting for the party that would hurt them . . . and so I try to understand where they're coming from." He talked about a conversation that he had recently with a scholar from Washington DC think tank the Brookings Institution, saying, "Most Americans don't have time to watch CNN and Fox and Al Jazeera. They're trying to make the rent, get the kids fed, they're tired when they get home and they want to forget about everything. And so suddenly when this voice comes in - and it doesn't have to be a voice of substance - saying he's fed up with all of this, that's the part that hooks into the DNA."
The father of six mused that "a lot of people feel alone," adding, "What I'm most hopeful about is that we're a global neighborhood now, and we start to understand each other more and more . . . and yet, you see this reactionary push for isolation and separation again." He went on: "A Trump supporter is fighting against just about everything. What does he even mean, 'take our country back?' Would someone please explain that to me? Where'd it go?"
MAC Cosmetics's Newest Collection Is a Pigmented-Lipstick-Lover's Fantasy
If you've caught us daydreaming, we might have been wondering what it would be like to see life through another person's eyes. These days, we're fantasizing about viewing the world through the lenses of a tetrachromat - and MAC's newest collection gets us one step closer.
Tetrachromats are individuals who possesses the ability to see up to 100 million colors that the average human being can't. This is due to the fact that instead of having three kinds of cone cells (the photoreceptors in the eye), tetrachromats have four. We've always turned to MAC when we're shopping for a diverse range of color needs, so it makes sense that the brand tapped author and tetrachromat Maureen Seaberg for its revolutionary new launch.
Liptensity, a high-pigment lipstick line, consists of 24 innovative hues. Many of the tints (like Galaxy Grey, a smoky lilac) are scarcely seen on shelves, setting this range apart from other lipstick offerings, including MAC's classic range. From blackened-navy "Blue Beat" to creamy coral "Medium Rare," every shade glides on with ease, leaving behind vibrant color with a demi-matte finish. If you're a packaging junkie, you'll recognize that the products look highly similar to MAC's blockbuster Tendertalk launch but with one eye-catching difference: the cap and tube flawlessly match the bullet inside.
Read on to see every hue in the assortment, then shop the Liptensity collection when it launches Sept. 21.

The Super Mario iPhone Game Is Real and Coming Soon
We were treated to an awesome and unexpected surprise in the first 20 minutes of the Apple event: Mario is finally coming to the app store!
Super Mario Run will launch for the 2016 holiday season and will be set at a fixed price to be confirmed at a later date. Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto demonstrated the gameplay live on stage; it's a continuous running game, designed very much like the uber-popular iPhone/Android game Temple Run, and allows you to jump for coins as you race towards the finish line. You'll also be able to compete against your friends in "Toad Rally" mode.
While we may still have a while to go until the game is released, Miyamoto also announced that iOS 10 will feature an iMessage Mario sticker pack to tide you over until you can download the game from the app store this winter.
This New Development Makes Pokémon Go WAY Better
Pokémon Go is about to get a lot easier - and more fun. You no longer have to look at your phone while walking or running, because Pokémon Go Plus is coming to the Apple Watch!
While Apple Watch users will still have to open the app to catch a Pokémon, you'll be able to track which ones are nearby on your watch so you never have to miss any rare Pokémon again. You'll also be able to track how far you've walked and how close any eggs you're incubating are to hatching. And when they do hatch, you'll instantly see which Pokémon you got right on the screen.
As a bonus, you'll also be able to use your wrist to activate Pokéstops without having to pull out your phone. Your watch will vibrate, after which you just need to swipe to collect items, exactly like in the game.
There's no release date slated for the app yet, but you can bank on the fact that we'll be watching and waiting for more details over the coming weeks.
Victoria Beckham's Fashion Week Style Reminds Us of 2 Very Iconic New Yorkers
As Victoria Beckham dashes in and out of her hotel to attend model castings and prepare her runway show, she's also debuting a brand new look. (She's always been good at multi-tasking.) Breezy blouses and loose-fit trousers feel more cozy-chic and less polished than her typical uniform, but Victoria's still sophisticated. Thanks to steadfast accessories like her gold Rolex watch, engagement ring, and oversize lenses, Victoria's maintained fluidity thus far, but her outfits feel familiar.
Maybe it's her flat, open-toe sandals or that neutral palette of black and white, but we picture Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen every time VB steps out. The Olsens have shown their collections in New York for many seasons, and Ms. Beckham's a NYFW veteran too. Adopting a chic, throw-on-and-go style sense just feels practical when you're buckling down in the city. Read on for all the proof you need that when it comes to dressing like a New Yorker, Mary-Kate, Ashley, and Victoria are on the same page.
Kendall Jenner Tries Out the Smoky Lilac Hair Trend For Vogue Australia
The Kardashian-Jenner crew aren't rookies when it comes to changing their look. Kylie has a newly bleached mane, Kim is known for her transformative contouring routine, and Khloé chopped off her locks and went blond. Until recently, Kendall has stuck to her glossy brunette locks.
For Vogue Australia's October issue, Kendall appears with a blunt cut with lilac ends. Her tangerine and magenta lip colors give a much edgier look than we are used to on the model, who usually wears more classic makeup shades. Perhaps this is a sign Kendall will join her sisters in switching up her style and experimenting more with beauty. Either way, she looks stunning.
Read on to see more shots of Kendall's gorgeous new smoky lilac hair, then grab your own copy of Vogue Australia's October issue, on sale Sept. 12.

Why This Working Mom Loves Stay-at-Home Moms
I have been on both sides of the great motherhood coin.
I was once the stay-at-home mom (SAHM) who worked from home at night, or on Sundays strictly part-time, but I was mostly home. I didn't miss a day with my daughter, and now, I am a working single mother who uses after care and, sometimes, before care. From managing the home front full-time to working 9-to-5 or later full-time, I have done it all. I can tell you the pros and cons of both situations. I can wax poetic on the battles I had as an SAHM, versus the battles I have now as a working parent.
No matter which side of the coin you are on, parenting is a hard job.
I have never understood why other women feel the need to make anyone else's parenting choice - whether it to be at home or to work - their business. No one's situation is the same, and for many of us, our situations change and develop as our kids grow. As mothers, we have seasons in our lives in which we have to decide how to prioritize our time, money, and lives based around our kids' unique developmental needs.
So bottom line, how does putting someone else down for her choice or comparing your situation to someone else's make anything any better?
Thanks to my SAHM friend, my life and my daughter's life is better.
What I have learned as time goes on is that we need each other - the working moms and the SAHMs. I've also learned in my working, single-parent lifestyle that my SAHM friends are the ones who have made life easier for me. Thanks to my SAHM friends - and even acquaintances - my life and my daughter's life are better.
I think of numerous times in which my SAHM friends watched my daughter so I could go to work. When her school was closed. When I couldn't afford the babysitter. When I couldn't afford to put my child in camp. When I had an interview I needed to rush to. When I was sick and couldn't care for my child. There they were: my SAHM friends, helping me. Even though they were plenty busy with their own children and daily lives, they took my child anywhere from a day or three, and at the early hours of morning into the late evening.
Because they were home tending to their children, they were able to be a part of my village, my network. Thanks to them, I got to work while my daughter was well-cared for. And now, there are many times my daughter will ask when she can go to my friends' homes and stay all day while I work. This tells me that she felt loved and safe when in their care. What parent could ask for anything more?
I think of the numerous times in which my SAHM friends watched my kiddo and then had food on the table for me when I came to pick her up. I would walk in the door and see my daughter, tired and happily worn from the day, yet not in the least ready to leave because she was having "too much fun." On the table would be dinner. Sometimes we all ate together, sometimes I ate alone because everyone had already finished. Either way, someone cared for my daughter all day, and then cared for me on top of that. It always made my day better.
Because they were home and kind to me and my daughter, my night was easier. I was fed. My child was fed. Life was better because of my village. Because of these women, my daughter and I got a little more comfort.
I appreciate these ladies so much because they remind me that my daughter and I are not alone.
So often I walk away from these great experiences and wonder if my friends' spouses appreciate my friends they way I do. Because of these women, children are raised, bellies are full, homes are running, and the family goes on. The working spouse leaves the home each day feeling confident that the kids are taken care of. That the home will not fall apart. That a meal will be there at the end of day. That they can earn a paycheck thanks to the support of that SAHM.
Maybe I just appreciate these things all the more because I do everything on my own. Because the show starts and ends with me in this house each day. Or maybe I appreciate these ladies so much because they remind me that my daughter and I are not alone. That family exists outside of the four walls of your home.
And that kindness is still all around.

American Horror Story: All the Definite Connections Between the 5 Seasons
It's always thrilling to see what's on the horizon on American Horror Story, and we know very little about season six. Going forward, though, we're also excited for even more returning characters and even more threads between seasons. Of course we have plenty of unconfirmed theories (including some fan theories that are truly out there), but we're focusing on only those threads that are concrete. To get us ready for the chapters that lie ahead, let's look back at all the times two (or more) AHS installments definitely intersected.
This Mom Created An Adorable Song To Help Potty Train Her Daughter
A "desperate" mom from Alabama has created a song to help potty train her daughter, but we're warning you, it's incredibly catchy and it might be stuck in your head for the rest of the day!
Stacia D. Wright decided a song and dance was the key to getting her daughter to the bathroom. "This potty training has made me delirious I think . . . so my trainee and I made up this new random silly potty song – and she loves it! Now only if she would actually follow the instructions #PottyTrainingDay1 #MySweetsieLovesMusic #ItsBeenARoughStart #RandomPottySongMoment #IHatePottyTraining #LordHelpMe #PleaseDontMindMyCrazyVocals," she captioned the video on Facebook.
Parents have been praising Wright's adorable tactics and commiserating over their similar struggles in the comments section. "Hope it helps some poor desperate parent out there like me!" she wrote in a follow-up post.
We're hoping this works for Wright's daughter and all the other struggling parents out there, but if not, check out these tips and tricks for potty training success.

Remember last decade, how you used to quote Mean Girls word for word while talking to your best friend on your Nokia cell phone? Mom of "Violent Child" Insists Parenting Isn't Always to Blame
We've all seen them: those kids at the playground who seem a bit too "rough" – who kick and punch and scream and kick some more. But what if that kid were yours?
Mom blogger Constance Hall revealed that one of her four children is, for lack of a better word, "violent." She also opened up about what it's like to be blamed for it: "Be it that the majority of us aren't inclined to hate on a kid, I hear the concerned moms saying comments like, 'Poor kid, obviously sees a lot of violence at home.'"
Before you too presume that it all comes down to bad parenting, read the rest of her candid Facebook post for a different perspective:
Maybe that makes us feel better, knowing that there is a reason for violence in a child, hopefully that will minimize the chances of us getting a violent one.
Well... I have a violent child.
Rumi is a f*cking little monster. Today I turned my back for a split second and he had backed Snow into a corner and was kicking and hitting her with meth head force. I pulled him away and hugged Snow, Rumi went on to kick Arlo.
He lashes out, it's just who he is.
And I can tell you one thing I know for sure, my household has a lot of shit things – it's messy, it's relaxed on rules, we argue, kids stay up late, last night BV was painting at 9:30pm. But one thing it is not is violent.
My 3 other kids are gentle. Somehow I just got this gang member throwback.
So please don't jump to conclusions that a child's behavior is a reflection of a parents' abilities to care for them. Some of us just got a weird one.
As for anyone who thinks that they too may have a similarly "violent kid" at home, there's one important lesson Constance has learned.
"It's our responsibility to keep violence away from all kids, but if you have one with a particular interest in it, then you must give them the extreme opposite," she wrote. "Don't ever punish with violence or condone it in anyway. Extra snuggles, extra kindness, and extra kisses. And with a bit of love, you won't have a psychopath on your hands."

Attention Vegans! Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Are No Longer Dairy-Free!
I'm in shock. I feel completely betrayed. By a chocolate chip, of all things. It's a sad, sad day for those of us avoiding dairy because I just found out that Ghirardelli changed their recipe, and it's now made with whole milk powder. Horrifying, I know. I totally feel your pain. And now I find myself having to apologize to you, because for years, I've recommended Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips for my dairy-free and vegan recipes. So much sadness.
If you have packages in your kitchen, they might still be good. But if you go to buy new ones, you'll see the new ingredient list and start sobbing. But before you melt into a puddle of chocolate-covered depression, there are tons of companies that do offer dairy-free alternatives. Try one of these:
- Enjoy Life Mega Chunks, Mini Chips, and Dark Chocolate Morsels
- Trader Joe's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Costo Kirkland Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Guittard Semisweet Chocolate Baking Chips, Akoma Extra Semisweet Chocolate Baking Chips, Extra Dark Chocolate Baking Chips, and Super Cookie Chips
Not only am I in mourning over the loss of these chocolate chips, but now I'm questioning all the food I eat. What other companies have changed their recipes to include dairy?! We spend a lot of time label reading, double-checking to make sure the foods we buy are healthy and safe for us to eat. Once we know a product gets the green light, we wouldn't feel the need to check it again. But with this recent finding, I guess it's a reminder that no product is 100 percent safe forever. The next time you hit the store, you might want to take a peek at some of your tried-and-true faves before throwing them in your cart.
On a happier note, I just found out that all of Kashi's frozen waffles, crackers, and pita chips are now vegan!

Parents of Kids Who Hate Needles (Probably You) Have No Choice but a Shot This Flu Season
The American Academy of Pediatrics just said "nope" to flu vaccine mists, and you can almost hear the collective groan around the world from parents whose kids hate needles (read: probably you and every other parent you know). FluMist - a nasal spray version of the flu shot - has been many a mom's savior during flu seasons, but pediatricians are putting their foot down as the vaccine has been fairly ineffective against influenza for the past three years.
"New research shows that the flu shot provided significantly better protection in recent flu seasons compared with the nasal spray vaccine," Dr. Henry Bernstein of Cohen's Children's Medical Center in New York told NBC News. "Not having the option of receiving a flu vaccine intranasally or [via] a nasal spray is disappointing to some but I think that people recognize that flu vaccine is the best preventative measure that we have to protect everyone against influenza."
Last June the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) cited studies that showed the vaccine only reduced the risk of getting the flu by three percent, and regardless of other studies that show it is effective, the ACIP's opinion has caused clinics to cancel this year's orders of the mist. This means shots all around for families who want to protect themselves from the flu.
Every year, flu shots are reformulated using a "cocktail" of three or four circulating strains of the influenza virus to protect people as well as possible from the unpredictable virus. The flu typically hits hard among the population of young children and senior citizens, killing anywhere from 4,000 to 50,000 people a year in the US alone. The AAP has recommended that pregnant women still get a flu shot to help protect both mom and baby from the virus.

Kylie Jenner Stole Her Fashion Week Look Straight From Her Sister's Closet
It's not just Kylie Jenner's platinum hairstyle that reminds us of Kim Kardashian at Paris Fashion Week circa 2015. Kylie might have bleached her long bob, but she's also rocking similar outfits to those we've seen on Kim. That's not too much of a surprise. After all, the two routinely choose body-hugging silhouettes, sheer details, and crop tops.
Even so, we almost couldn't distinguish between the sister duo when we saw Kylie in a satin bustier, red crinkled leather, and strappy heels. Read on to see how Kylie's inspired by Kim's old Fashion Week wardrobe and pray Kim doesn't go back to blond this month - then we'd really have a twinning problem on our hands.
Mark Your Calendar: NYFW's Spring '17 Schedule Is Here
While you may be focused on enjoying Summer '16, the fashion world is already looking ahead to Spring '17. The CFDA just released its tentative schedule for the upcoming New York Fashion Week, which runs Sept. 7-19, and while the calendar is subject to change, the designers to watch won't: Tom Ford, Alexander Wang, and Christian Siriano - whose recent nuptials qualified as a fashion show in itself - are just a few shows that already have us counting down the days.
This year's Sept. 11 also marks the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, which, according to Women's Wear Daily, the CFDA plans to acknowledge during NYFW. Read on to see the full list of who is showing and when, then check back as we continue to update.
This Body Painting Technique Is the Trippiest Thing You'll See All Day
Water marbling has been a hit in the nail polish community for quite some time. The way this cool method works is simple: you just add a few drops of lacquer onto the surface of a cup of water, then dip your fingernail into the cup and slowly withdraw your digit. You'll see a mesmerizing, swirling pattern on your talon. But it seems that truly trippy manicures weren't bold enough for lacqueristas, because the technique has worked its way to a bigger canvas.
The above video from Insider demonstrates body marbling, which has been spotted at music festivals like Afropunk. Here, you'll see the company Black Light Visuals and its incredible masterpieces in action.
The procedure is quite similar to that of a water marbling manicure, but wearers dip a body part into a salt solution before the paint step (to ensure the color sticks). The result is quite beautiful - it reminds us of swirling desert sands! - but the real magic happens when your art is exposed to black light. We expect that a lot of women will be attempting to re-create this look for Halloween. We can't blame them. Body marbling is badass, gorgeous, and perfect for lazy girls . . . basically the Halloween costume trifecta. See for yourself!

Chloe Lukasiak Is the Perfect Example of Why You Should Never Tease Someone About Their Looks
Chloe Lukasiak has experience dealing with the wrong side of the internet in a very personal way. The 15-year-old dancer, who got her start on Dance Moms, was the subject of ridicule last year when it became apparent that one eye was smaller than the other. She was teased by bullies online who claimed the teen had a "lazy eye," when she was actually dealing with a different medical issue.
During puberty, Lukasiak noticed one eye was smaller, but she didn't let the internet comments bother her. "I don't really pay attention to the negative comments," said Lukasiak. "I always just kind of ignored it. My mom wanted to focus on it more than I would, or the other moms, or everyone else would. Then I started seeing those comments, I'd be like, 'That's kind of mean, but whatever.'"
Once Chloe went to the doctor and started discovering what was really going on with her eye - a serious medical condition called Silent Sinus Syndrome, which meant her orbital floor had collapsed - she says that the pressure of being on the show and dealing with commenters who were judging her on her looks without knowing what she was really going through made her realize how insensitive people were being. "I'm getting 17 vials of blood taken right now, and you're judging me for having a lazy, ugly eye? That's mean!" said Lukasiak.
Silent Sinus Syndrome can cause orbital asymmetry, among other issues. "We went to the doctor and I had a bunch of tests taken. So I think it's like a vacuum pulling my eye back, 'cause I had a negative pressure in this cheek, or this sinus, you could say," said Chloe. This made Chloe's eye appear smaller, and she ended up receiving two surgeries to fix it. Without treatment, Chloe could have suffered medical issues like diplopia, enophthalmos, and negative sinus issues.
Chloe eventually made a video explaining what was going on with her features and explained the seriousness of the issue. The video aired as Chloe was in surgery for the first time, to a variety of comments, including people apologizing for "not knowing what she was really going through."
It's fair to say, though, that nobody should have said anything in the first place. Criticizing the way someone looks, regardless of whether it's attributed to a medical issue or not, is deplorable. Chloe suggests that everyone ignore bullies and put a stop to online harassment altogether. "Honestly, if you ignore the bullies, they move on. They get bored and move onto someone else, which is really bad because we should just end bullying. Focus on yourself and what makes you happy," said Chloe.
Check out the interview and be sure to catch Chloe in Cowgirl's Story, out in 2017, and subscribe to her YouTube channel.
Zendaya's Story About Her Recent Ecounter With a Store Clerk Will Fill You With Rage
Zendaya took a stance on racial injustice on Tuesday when she told her fans about an unpleasant encounter she had at the supermarket. In a series of Snapchat videos, the actress alleged that a clerk refused to serve her when she tried to buy $400 in gift cards. "The lady that was helping us... I don't think she was a huge fan of our skin tone," she said in the clip. After she was denied the gift cards, Zendaya said the clerk then proceeded to throw her wallet at her, causing her cards to fall out. "This is what we deal with," the 20-year-old star told the camera before her friend in the car added, "Because we're black." But in true Zendaya fashion, she met the hatred with nothing but grace. "You know what, it's all love," she said. "May she go on to have a wonderful life."
This isn't the first time Zendaya has spoken up about racism. Not only did she fire her publicist for being insensitive about the color of her skin, but she also graciously handled Giuliana Rancic's controversial comments about her Oscars outfit back in 2015. Let's just add this to the long list of examples of how Zendaya is wise beyond her years.
This Animated Short Film About Día de los Muertos Will Bring You to Tears
Although Día de los Muertos is often mistakenly associated with Halloween, the true meaning behind the Mexican holiday is actually anything but scary.
It's a time to honor the dead with colorful celebrations, complete with all the makings of a vibrant party - from symbolic decor to delicious treats and even themed makeup. And that's exactly what three film students (Ashley Graham, Kate Reynolds, and Lindsey St. Pierre) at Ringling College of Art and Design conveyed in their award-winning animated short, above.
Originally created in 2013, the moving, 3-minute-long video follows one young girl in a small village who recently lost her mother as she beautifully discovers the truth about the day. Grab your tissues, because once you press play, you won't be able to hide the feels.

Since Yevette is a single mom, she immediately turned the car around and drove home.
But instead of letting Elijah skip this father-friendly event, she quickly changed and dressed up in a masculine ensemble - complete with a mustache - and brought her child back to school. "I know seeing other dads with their kids isn't easy for mine, but it's life. At least I can do whatever it takes to put a smile on that face," Yevette wrote on Facebook. "I wasn't about to let him miss out."

While appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday morning, Britney Spears didn't simply sit down for a chat like a normal guest. Instead, Ellen took the VMA performer on a hilarious trip to the mall. In addition to cutting lines and getting a bunch of stuff for free by using the magic words ("I'm a celebrity"), the two also impressively strutted their stuff around the shopping center before hanging out with a group of adorable kids and harassing a Ben and Jerry's employee for free sprinkles. Sounds stressful, right? No wonder they ended up in bed together.
Aly Raisman's Parents Get a Silver-Medal-Worthy Fright on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Kylie, who looked casual in a black t-shirt and vans, also showed off her new bleach-blond hair. Not only did the rapper keep his arms locked tight around his girlfriend's waist, but he even snuck a few side kisses as they walked. After briefly splitting earlier this year, it seems these two are back to being young and in love.
