I Grew Up With 2 Moms, and I Wouldn't Change a Thing
They may not know it, but my mom and stepmom make an amazing team. I know it sounds crazy - that two women on the opposite sides of a failed marriage could be on a "team" of any kind, let alone a winning one. They probably think that they're barely getting by in the wild world of parenthood, struggling to make the right choices day by day while raising my little brother and me . . . but to be honest, they're kicking ass. I can say without question that my two mothers are now counted among my best friends, and I consider myself lucky to have grown up with double the moms in my life.
My Stepmom
After my parents' divorce, I was very wary of stepmothers. Growing up watching movies like The Parent Trap, Cinderella, and Snow White, how could I not be scared of the future that awaited my little brother and me? So when my dad decided that the time to introduce us to his new girlfriend was long overdue, I was on my guard - imagine my shock when I hit it off with the athletic, cheerful young woman who made my dad incredibly happy. However much I liked her, though, I was fiercely protective of my little family and made it known.
I was defensive of my mother's role in my life, and I made it known that no stepmom was ever going to replace her. Luckily for me, mine never tried. On the many occasions when I rudely asserted that I didn't need another mom, my stepmother responded kindly, assuring me that her role was "co-mama." Not mom. Not dad's wife. Rather, she was there to support our family as a loving coparent. To this day, I can't imagine a better way to put my stubborn little mind at ease. When my dad and stepmom got married, I not only gained a cool new co-mama in my life . . . I also gained a whole new family of grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles who love me like one of their own. I can't imagine life without them.
I've heard many stories of stepparents who are distant, uninvolved, and have no investment in their stepchild's life. That was never the case for my stepmom - she encouraged me to pursue my dreams. When I wanted to study fashion design, she bought fashion magazines for my rudimentary mood boards and even managed to find a dress-form mannequin in my exact size. When I switched gears to focus on writing, she read countless stories that never made it past the first chapter.
I ended up focusing on nonfiction writing as a career, but without her encouragement during these early stages I doubt I would have had the courage to pursue such an "impractical" occupation. She screamed when I got accepted into my dream college, jumping around with me in the hallways of our house. When I landed my job at POPSUGAR, she was so excited for me that she cried. My stepmother has always been one of my biggest cheerleaders, and I will never be able to thank her enough for it.
My Mom
Don't even get me started on my mom. You know Lorelai Gilmore? If you could combine her with Mrs. Incredible (aka Elastigirl from The Incredibles), you'd get my mom. She's one of the hardest workers I've ever known, possesses a fierce independence that would put Beyoncé to shame, and values her kids above all else. While many women dread inheriting characteristics from their mothers, I'd be lucky to become more like mine. She taught me how to love without holding back, live a life that I'm proud of, and form relationships worth keeping.
Over the 21 years that she's raised me, my mom has worked her butt off. Long hours of exhausting tasks and heaps of responsibility awaited her at the office every day, but somehow she always put on an energetic smile for my brother and me. During the few months since I graduated and entered the workforce, my already high regard for her has increased a hundredfold - I get eight hours of sleep per night and still feel sluggish when I arrive home from work! She's always been determined not to let her personal struggles affect her parenting, and despite everything from financial woes to health scares she's succeeded. If she ever felt threatened by another mother's presence in my life, I never knew it!
It seems that every spare moment of my mom's life is spent connecting with her kids through the activities that matter to us. For my little brother, that means many late nights spent poring over football strategies, creating sports-team rosters, and baking enough snacks to feed an entire mountain-biking team. When I still lived in the house, it usually meant picking through stacks of used books at musty bookstores or picking up burritos for marathon nights of Lost. My brother and I are vastly different people, but my mom managed to value and connect with us equally.
I wasn't the most obedient or respectful teenager, but my mom persevered and loved me anyway - and I'm thankful that my rebellious days are over, because now I can talk to her about anything. She's spoken more words of prayer for me than are written in 10 copies of War and Peace - I'm sure of it. If you collected the tears she's shed for me during times of heartbreak and distress, they would fill a fish tank. I can call my mom anytime for an attentive ear and compassionate advice, and she's still always game for Thai food and Netflix binges. It would never embarrass me to call her my best friend.
The "Team"
My mom and stepmom may not know they're a team, but for 14 years they have been. From tackling tough issues to getting me through college, they've collaborated peacefully and admirably in ways that most divorced families couldn't fathom. They have worked so hard to keep any stress out of our households - for every "serious" discussion, they (and my dad, of course!) would reserve a room at the local library to hash things out, allowing me and my brother to enjoy time with friends instead of overhear potentially concerning financial talk.
This type of thoughtfulness and cooperative concern for the kids was the norm in my childhood, and I'm so lucky for it. My two mother figures worked hard to coparent without any drama, which is sadly quite uncommon in the world of divorced families. My birthdays were celebrated with all three of my parents present, enjoying one another's company without any harsh words spoken. When I graduated both high school and college, both moms sat together in the audience. I got to look out at the commencement onlookers and see the most important women in my life smile back - a privilege that I'll never forget.
Looking back on a childhood of shared birthday parties, peaceful transitions between the houses, and open communication between sets of parents, I don't know if my two mothers even know how great of a job they've done. Between the two of them, I've never gone without a shoulder to cry on, good advice, or a loving hug. My unlikely team of moms is a winning one, and I've been indescribably blessed to call them mine.
Leighton Meester Says "There's So Much More to Women" Than Being a Mom
Leighton Meester has a surprisingly simple reason for why she doesn't talk about her 19-month-old daughter, Arlo Day. "I don't talk about Arlo very much. I am very proud of that area of my life. But I'm also really proud of the show, and of the work I do," the 30-year-old actress revealed during a recent interview with Refinery29. "I think the perception is: You're an ingenue, or you're an icon, or you're a mom. There's no in between."
Meester also expressed her frustration with the notion that women can only be wives and mothers. "The excitement for a lot of people is: Man and woman meet, get married, then have a baby. But in the meantime, there's so much more to women," she declared. Although she rarely shares any photos of her daughter, Meester has posted countless adorable photos with her husband, actor Adam Brody, throughout the years.

10 Fun Facts About Ed Sheeran That You Can Use as Talking Points at Parties
Ed Sheeran is having a major moment right now, and we really can't think of anyone who deserves it more. After his new album, Divide, was released in early March, the singer has been all over the map. In addition to delivering one killer performance after the next, he's also opened up about his romance with girlfriend Cherry Seaborn, touched on his friendship with Taylor Swift, and inspired some pretty unbelievable dance videos. But do you ever say to yourself, "I would really love to know more about him"? Us too. Keep reading for 10 fun facts you might not have known about the "Supermarket Flowers" singer.
- In 2009, he played in more than 300 live shows and gigs while trying to get noticed. When Ed was just 18, he played a show almost every single day of the year in order to try to build his career from the ground up. "I gigged pretty much every day," he told the Daily Mail in 2012 about his dedication. "My dad cut this article out about James Morrison. He said, 'Look, this dude did 200 gigs in a year. He got the experience and then he got signed.' My dad's attitude is to take someone you admire and not so much copy them as take their work ethic and do it twice as much."
- He names all of his guitars. The singer revealed that he names his guitars after people in his working crew. Past guitars have been named Chris, Trev, James I, and James II.
- He sees his songs in color. Being the true artist that he is, Ed's songs aren't just lyrics to him. "All my songs have colors," he's said. "'You Need Me I Don't Need You' for example is aubergine. It's a sad song about struggling."
- He gave Harry Styles a tattoo. Ed actually tattooed a padlock on the One Direction singer's wrist. Harry later revealed that he's come to regret the ink, saying, "I regret this one on my wrist here [pointing to the padlock]. I mean, these are just crap. There are some that my friends have done and some that are just awful."
- Ed estimates that he has between 60 and 100 tattoos himself. His collection of ink includes three boxing gloves, a shamrock filled in with the Irish flag, a giant family tree, a teacup, the Heinz Tomato Ketchup logo, a Canadian maple leaf, and "Red" after Taylor Swift's album.
- He also has one in honor of his favorite TV show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Ed has the word "Prince" tattooed in green letters on his bicep. When asked about the meaning behind it, Ed said, "I played in Philadelphia and I was on tour with my friends, the Rizzle Kicks, who were my opening act. And I got 'Prince,' Jordan got 'Fresh' on his leg, and Harley got on his arm 'on the playground where I spent most of my days.'"
- He's relatable when it comes to food. During a 2012 radio interview, Ed got hilariously honest about his outlook on having a chiseled body, saying, "I have never had a six-pack and will never have a six-pack, so I might as well stuff my face." Same, Ed. Same.
- Taylor Swift actually contacted him first. We've all come to know and love Ed and Taylor's close friendship, and it turns out that the "Style" singer was the one to make the first move. After one of her managers saw him performing at a show in Nashville back in the day, Taylor contacted him because she instantly fell in love with his music. "['Lego House'] just cut through everything else," Taylor told Rolling Stone.
- He has a refreshing outlook on fame. Ed, who has given fans glimpses of his normal and happy childhood through his music videos, still seems to be that same down-to-earth kid from the English countryside. "I've always said that I wanna be known as the nicest and hardest working guy in the industry, so if I could be known as that that would be brilliant," he said in 2012.
- He can speak German and Greek. Not a lot, but it's still something!
We Just Barely Recognized Sia Without Her Signature Wig
When Sia popped up at LAX on Wednesday, she didn't exactly turn heads - instead, she flew under the radar and was barely recognizable without the over-the-top wig that typically covers her face on stage and on the red carpet. Instead, the 41-year-old "Waterfall" singer went casual in Kenzo sweatpants and a natural hair and makeup look, holding on to her tote bag as she made her way to the terminal; she was reportedly jetting off to Dubai for a concert on Saturday.
Sia's overseas trip comes just a few months after she filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Erik Anders Lang. In December, the couple released a statement announcing their split, saying, "After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple. We are, however, dedicated to remaining friends. There will be no further comment."

Mom's Thoughts on Mommy Shaming Are So Spot On, It Hurts
Motivation-JudgingYou don't know her story, so please stop judging it!
Posted by The Chic Site by Rachel Hollis on Tuesday, March 14, 2017
After an estimated five minutes of sleep the night before, Rachel Hollis - of The Chic Site - was in a Starbucks desperately waiting for a caffeine fix when she overheard an upsetting encounter between two pregnant strangers.
"As I'm walking out, one of the pregnant women says to the other woman - she was just asking her questions about her baby - and said, 'Oh, did you nurse?'" Hollis recalls. "The woman was like, 'Oh, you know, I did for a couple weeks, but I really struggled with my first baby.' And the other woman was like, 'You didn't breastfeed? Oh. Well, with this baby, you definitely need to work on that. This is your child's health. I mean, you really couldn't give it more than two weeks?'"
Hollis stops the reenactment there, as she gets beyond frustrated just thinking about what she witnessed. "I just watched a total stranger shame a total other stranger, who is, by the way, like, 10 months pregnant, in a freakin' Starbucks," she says. "And so I'm just gonna take a quick moment to say: you are not allowed to tell anybody else how to live their life. How dare you."
Hollis continues, ending her rant with a number of valid and powerful comments about being women who support each other rather than women who shame each other, especially other moms.
You are not allowed to shame another mom who is likely doing her very best - you don't know her story; you don't know how hard it is. If you breastfeed, that's incredible! But not everybody has that ability. . . . Whatever the reasons are, you don't get to judge. Please, please . . . we are supposed to support each other. And never more so than for another mom who is trying her best.
And maybe your intentions were good, but it doesn't feel like that, because as moms, oftentimes we're beating ourselves up for 50 things. So when you come over the top - a stranger or a sister or a best friend - and shame someone further, it only beats them down into the dust; it doesn't make them think that they can take anything on. . . . I have to put this out into the world: please be kind.
Please know that you don't know her story, even if you look at her and make a snap judgment that she should be doing something better, that she could be doing something better - that is not your place. Your place, as a fellow mom and a fellow woman, is just to love and encourage her where she is. Please, be thoughtful with your words.

How to Get Kids to Stop Sucking Their Thumbs
Thumb sucking is a natural soothing method for babies and young children, but it can also be a difficult habit to break. While thumb sucking in the first three years of life is not generally a cause for concern, extensive sucking beyond the age of 4 may lead to dental problems. Ready to break the habit? Try these seven tips from real moms whose children were thumb suckers.
1. Bad-Tasting Products
One commonly recommend way to discourage thumb sucking is by covering the thumb with product that tastes bitter, spicy, or otherwise icky. Moms like Shannon K. found success with drugstore products designed for nail biters: "When my littlin was asleep I put some on both her thumbnails and when she later went to suck her thumb it tasted terrible! I only needed to reapply a few times and it had totally broken the habit."
2. Bandages
Covering thumbs with bandages can also deter children from thumb sucking, especially if the bandages are brightly colored or feature a favorite character. Mother-of-four Connie P. recalls: "I found that she did not like the feel of those fabric bandages in her mouth so I just kept a BandAid on it. Within a couple of days you could see her think about it and decide against it."
3. Distraction
"If it's during the day, try to distract him with a toy or activity," Tameka P. suggests. Since children often suck their thumbs when bored, providing distractions can help break the habit.
4. Set an End Date
Consider setting a specific date to end thumb sucking. Mother-of-four Tina S. explains: "We did try many different things, like bitters and hot sauce, but he actually liked that. We just picked a date that he would stop sucking his thumb and talked about it with him all the time. We chose his 5th birthday, because then he would be a big boy. It sounds crazy, but that day came and he never sucked him thumb again."
5. Pictures of Germs
Pictures of germs can also deter thumb sucking. Erin B. shares: "We got a book from the library about germs and logged on to several websites that had up close pictures of germs. We told her every time she sucked her thumb she was eating those disgusting germs."
Sara C. agrees: "I even did a Google image search and showed her what a germ looks like...she very rarely sucked her thumb after that."
6. Thumb Guard
If your child's thumb sucking is already negatively impacting her teeth, your dentist may suggest inserting a preventative appliance in her mouth. Angie, a mom and dental hygienist shares: "[An orthodontist] can make an appliance that has a metal piece that prevents the thumb or fingers from going into the mouth. Not too pretty, but it does the trick!."
7. Peer Pressure
Ultimately, comments from other children may convince your thumb sucker to quit. Mother-of-two Jennifer W. shares: "My oldest son sucked his thumb until he was 7. We had tried everything. The thing that finally worked was when his friends at school started giving him a hard time."

Daddy-Daughter Dances Are Great, But They Aren't Enough
If you have a young daughter and a Facebook account, and haven't been living under a rock, you've probably noticed that daddy-daughter dances are they new "It" kid event. The concept is simple enough: dad and his daughter both dress up, maybe he buys her a corsage or flowers, they go to a nice dinner, and then they hit the local park district or school gym where they take pictures, the daughter dances around with her equally decked-out girlfriends, and dad wonders if he should have stashed a flask in his suit jacket. Maybe throw a sweet slow dance in there for good measure.
Seriously, though, the whole thing is great. My 6-year-old daughter has been to a couple with her dad, and they both had a wonderful time. She loved the special attention, the one-on-one interaction that has so rarely happened since her brother was born three years ago, and the dance itself, where she could rock out to Taylor Swift and Katy Perry until she sweat through her Crewcuts dress. My husband loved seeing her so happy. He came home feeling a little closer to her and like he knew her a little better.
Because the whole event is such a positive experience for everyone, it begs the question: why aren't we encouraging regular dad-daughter interactions more? And, moreover, isn't it kind of weird that dads get so much praise for taking their daughters to what's essentially a fake prom that was undoubtedly originally schemed up by a mom somewhere? Shouldn't we expect this of them and so much more?
Why aren't we encouraging regular dad-daughter interactions more?
I don't want to sound cynical. Obviously, dads regularly interact with their daughters, but in my experience, that interaction is rarely a one-on-one event. Siblings are there, and of course mom is too, and that totally changes the dynamic. Family time is important, but I've always found that we get to the good stuff, the memory making, deep-connection forming stuff, when we have the space to focus all our of our attention on one person, especially when that person is one of our children.
Studies have shown that a father can shape his daughter's self-esteem and confidence, how she sees herself, and her opinions of and relationships with men. According to the Institute of Family Studies, the father-daughter relationship affects a girl's academic and career success, how long she waits to become sexually active, and whether she develops an eating disorder or becomes clinically depressed.
Girls who have close bonds with their dads will reap the benefits of that support and security in every aspect of their lives, throughout their lives. But those bonds with dad don't form as naturally as the ones with mom do. They need to be nudged along, on vacations, on weekend trips to the park and one-on-one lunches, and through fathers coaching sports, helping with homework, and reading to their daughters.
Our daughters need regular alone time with their fathers in order to form the bonds that will ensure they continue to live their happiest, most productive lives and have healthy relationships with men long after they leave our homes and become adults. They need more than a once-a-year dance, no matter how great of a photo op that dance might be.

These Are Those Star Leggings You've Been Seeing All Over Instagram
Would you pay $185 for a pair of leggings? A lot of women are saying yes - but not just for any old reason.
If you follow trainers and fitness stars on Instagram, chances are you've seen different versions of these leggings, but they're not from Nike or Lululemon. They're a new, up-and-coming brand called Ultracor, and they're something totally different.
For one, the designs are really unique. Whether you're rocking all-over gold stars, a rosy floral print, laser cut-outs up the side, or laser-cut zig-zag designs, you're definitely going to be catching some eyes at the gym [Editor's note: I wore the side cut-outs style to Barry's and everyone was asking where my leggings were from!].
The material is silky soft, smooth to the touch, has a nice sheen, and the compression is incredible. Despite everything being so firmly held in, the waistband doesn't dig into your sides (at least in our experience).
But here's the kicker: BUILT. IN. UNDERWEAR. Not a new concept for running shorts - the loose ones - that have a built-in brief. Exceptionally new concept for skintight, show-every-lump-and-bump leggings. Ultracor calls it "built-in compression shapewear." It's smooth, ultrathin, seamless, and has welded edges so there's no possibility for chafing. Of note: the "underwear" was not big enough for this editor's booty, and not quite small enough to be a thong - so they felt a little awkward at first. Once I got past it, they were exceptionally comfortable.
Would you swap your cotton underwear for a pair of luxe leggings with a built-in liner? For me, if the design and compression alone wasn't enough, the idea of having a sweat-wicking liner (and no sogginess) won me over completely. Plus, I'm a sucker for a cute workout outfit.

Learn the Secret to the Big Mac Sauce - and Prepare to Put It on Everything
We've figured out how to make McDonald's french fries and classic Egg McMuffin, and now you can make the Big Mac in your very own kitchen. A 2012 video of McDonald's Executive Chef Dan Coudreaut breaking down the makings of the iconic sandwich has resurfaced and we're lovin' it. Chef Dan shows us how to hack the Big Mac right down to its famous sauce, using similar ingredients available at your local grocery store.
Starting with the sauce, combine mayo, sweet pickle relish, classic yellow mustard, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Lightly toast three buns and brown two 100 percent beef patties in a pan, seasoning with a little salt and pepper. To finally assemble the Big Mac, add a dollop of the sauce on the "heel" (bottom bun) and the "club" (middle bun. Add a pinch of onions and lettuce onto both pieces, a slice of cheese on one, and two hamburger pickles on the other. After putting a patty on top of each bun, stack the prepared club on top of the heel, and finally place the "crown" (top bun) to top it all off. And voilà, you've got yourself a homemade Big Mac!
Social Media Helped This Sweet 5-Year-Old Boy With Cancer Find His Bear
Aiden is an adorable 5-year-old boy battling brain cancer and his teddy bear, Tedz, has been by his side through every single doctor's appointment. So when his beloved bear went missing, Aiden's mom, Tracy, did everything she possibly could to find it and took to Facebook to rally up her small Minnesota town for help. "We have done everything else but this," she wrote. "So here is the last ditch effort I suppose. We also wrote a letter to the editor and emailed a local news station. It may sound crazy but this teddy is a rather big deal. So much to his story."
Tracy explained that Aiden had been at the Mayo Clinic for his 60th round of chemo when they realized the bear was missing. "This is more than a teddy bear," she wrote. "It has been with him through every appointment and every scan and surgery, this teddy means the world to him if anyone may have seen it please let us know!"
The family called McDonald's, the local church, and tons of other possible places where Tedz could have gone missing, but it wasn't until she reached out to her Facebook community that the bear was found. Tracy asked her social media friends to share the post with their friends and by the time the post had over 1,000 shares, Tedz had been located! The bear was picked up at the chapel in the hospital and finally brought back to Aiden. He recorded a video to say thank you to the person who found him.
"I can't believe it worked," Tracy wrote on Facebook. We're so glad that Aiden was able to reunite with Tedz, thanks to the wonderful power of social media.
7 Facts About Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy's Under-the-Radar Romance
Image Source: Getty / James Devaney
Mary-Kate Olsen is a notoriously private person, especially when it comes to her relationship with Olivier Sarkozy. Since marrying the 47-year-old half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, the 30-year-old fashion designer has been pretty tight-lipped about her romance, only briefly mentioning him once during an interview with The Edit. While the two certainly shy away from talking about each other to the press, they have been known to show PDA from time to time when they attend sporting events. If you're curious to know more about them, we've gathered a few interesting details about their relationship below.
1. They Dated For 3 Years Before Tying the Knot
Despite their 17-year age gap, the two began dating in 2012 after meeting at a party. Mary-Kate - who was 25 at the time - had reportedly been complaining about "boys not being mature enough for her," and after just one month together, the two were "head over heels" for each other.
2. They Lived in $6.25 Million Townhouse
While they were dating, Mary-Kate stayed with Olivier at his lavish Manhattan townhouse. In 2015, they upgraded to a $13.5 million home by the Turtle Bay Garden.
3. Mary-Kate Turned Down Olivier's Proposal at First
After only 10 months of dating, Olivier was eager to "lock [Mary-Kate] down for life," but she made him wait and said no when he first brought up marriage. "She wasn't ready," a source told Us Weekly. "She didn't need to be wined and dined. She wanted to make sure he would be good to her."

4. Her Engagement Ring Is Worth More Than $80,000
Of course, Mary-Kate eventually said yes when Olivier proposed in 2014 with a four-carat vintage Cartier diamond ring that he reportedly purchased for $81,250 at a Sotheby's auction.
5. They Had a Hard Time Locking Down a Wedding Date
The two were originally going to tie the knot in June in the Hamptons but reportedly "changed their plans a million times."
6. They Got Married in a Private Ceremony
Almost a year after getting engaged, the couple wed in a small ceremony in Manhattan with 50 of their closest family and friends on Nov. 27, 2015. According to a Page Six source, guests were required to turn in their cell phones ahead of the ceremony, where the party decor consisted of "bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes."
7. Mary-Kate Is a Stepmom
Mary-Kate is now a stepmom to Oliver's two kids, Julien, 13, and Margo, 11, from his previous marriage to Charlotte Bernard. And there's no bad blood with Olivier's ex either. "Mary-Kate asks her permission about things that concern the kids," an Us Weekly source said. "So Charlotte loves her!"

Just Try Not to Fall in Love With This Rescue Pup Dressed as a Friar
We - as well as the rest of the internet - are head over heels in love with Carmelo the Schnauzer. This pup was taken in by friars at the Franciscan monastery of Cochabamba, Bolivia. The friars provided Carmelo with his very own habit and bestowed upon him the name Fray Bigotón. Carmelo now spends his days doing God's work, aka melting hearts by just generally being sweet and adorable.
"Here all of the brothers love him very much. He is a creature of God," Friar Jorge Fernandez told The Dodo. We can totally see why everyone loves him - and you will too when you scroll through and check out all the sweet pictures of him in his habit.

The Best Type of Bikini, According to a Victoria's Secret Angel
I first spotted my favorite bikini bottom on a friend of mine. She's got awesome curves and stands at 5'5" tall. But me? I've got short legs and a petite, slightly athletic frame. I never imagined her suit, complete with ruching at the back, would look good on me. But that's the thing about Victoria's Secret's ruched bikini bottom: it flatters every booty on earth - I swear.
Victoria's Secret Angel Romee Strijd - a supermodel who's tried on and posed in countless swimsuits in her career - swears by it too. When I caught up with her during lunch in New York for the launch of the new Dream Angels collection, she called out my beloved bottom:
"For swimsuits, I really like a triangle top and a cheeky bottom. I still have Victoria's Secret swim that I wear all the time. The suit with the ruching is so good for the butt. Anything that looks good on the butt, I will wear," Romee told me.
I described the design in detail, just to make sure we were referencing the same piece (we were). Unfortunately, with Victoria's Secret discontinuing its swim line, the exact bottom is no longer shoppable. But Victoria's Secret Pink offers four more just like it.
Scroll to see Romee rocking her favorite two-pieces, including a triangle top and cheeky, bootylicious bottom, then shop similar options with ruching detail you're bound to fall in love with. Trust, Romee and I wouldn't steer you in the wrong direction.
Let's All Take a Minute to Stare in Wonder at Lewis Tan's Shirtless Body
Netflix's Iron Fist might be getting panned by critics, but there's still one very important reason why you should watch it: Lewis Tan. In fact, if you want to go ahead and skip all the way to episode eight just to watch the talented 30-year-old actor, model, and trained martial artist do his thing, we wouldn't blame you. He's charming, charismatic, and . . . oh, that's right, really f*cking hot. Because there are still a few good things left in the world, Lewis has been kind enough to fill his Instagram with shirtless photos that are guaranteed to brighten your day (they certainly brightened ours). So, presented without further comment is a treasure trove of half-naked thirst. Proceed with caution (and maybe a fire extinguisher).
Why Jake Gyllenhaal Says He's "Never Allowed Back" at Ryan Reynolds's House
This month, POPSUGAR sat down with Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal to chat about their new sci-fi thriller, Life, at the South by Southwest festival and conference in Austin, TX. Naturally, our first order of business was to follow up on a shocking news story that broke earlier in the week: Ryan admitting that Jake is a better cook than his wife, Blake Lively. What sort of fall out did the costars experience in the wake of the report?!
"It was one of those things where you say something and you're, like, already texting under the table at the show," Ryan revealed. "Where you're like, 'I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. But it's true.'" Jake interjected, quipping, "Is there a prenup?" before explaining that he's the one getting the raw end of the deal here. "I heard about that and I knew I'd get the wrath. He's just like, 'Still married!' and I'm like, never allowed back."
All jokes aside, Ryan assured us everything is actually fine. "They do have a healthy competition. They both love food and they love cooking." Jake delivered the final coup de grâce, saying, "And we seriously dislike Ryan." Watch our full interview above, then get ready for some real horror: Life tears into theaters on March 24.

Exactly How It Felt When 1 Mom Learned She Was Having a Rainbow Baby
Having endured IVF and two miscarriages, Lauren Giles of Studio 154 Photography is sensitive toward clients who have experienced difficult hardships. "It's like a silent club we're in together," she wrote on her blog. "We mourn and comfort each other in the hard times, and we also celebrate and jump up and down in excitement during the good times!"
With this in mind, Lauren thought back to how she felt when she learned about her own pregnancy while brainstorming ideas for Brittany's rainbow baby maternity shoot. "I remembered what it felt like being told I was pregnant again after experiencing infertility and miscarriages, and now, hearing that heartbeat and being told there was a healthy growing baby inside, it was like rainbow confetti falling from the sky," she told POPSUGAR Moms.
Lauren shared her vision with Brittany, who was pregnant with her own rainbow baby, and the two decided to create the feeling of pure happiness that so many moms can relate to thanks to their little miracles. With two assistants armed with confetti guns standing on either side of Brittany, Lauren photographed the glowing mom-to-be and the sheer joy surrounding her pregnancy. "I wanted to capture that incredible feeling," Lauren added. "I wanted the photos to radiate the joy you feel after the storm you've been in."
This Magical Nursery Is What Harry Potter Fans' Dreams Are Made Of
There are Harry Potter lovers, and then there are diehard, full-blown superfans whom your average Muggles don't hold a candle to. Tiffany Nicole and her Harry Potter-loving husband most definitely fall into the second category.
The mother of four created a Harry Potter-themed nursery with elaborate details true fans can really appreciate. The room is decked out in Potter paraphanelia from wands and potions to bobbleheads, posters, broomsticks, memorable quotes, and, of course, the beautiful illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, which I'm fairly certain the new baby boy will be hearing from a pretty early age. Some commenters noted that there were a lot of toys and knick-knacks that are definitely not baby-proof in the room, but Tiffany assured everyone that in a few months the treasures and larger shelves would be removed from the nursery once he starts crawling.
The best part of all? Newborn baby Carlisle's middle name is Severus. Check out the epic images of the room that is giving us all MAJOR future nursery room goals that she posted in the Room of Requirement group on Facebook. Or just major room goals . . .
1 Expert Reveals Whether or Not You Really Need Primer in Your Makeup Routine
Is it just us, or does it seem like a new step is added into our makeup routines every few months? Over the past several years, we've incorporated brow pencils, color correctors, highlighters, setting powders, and more formulas into our regimens, but there's still one item we remain skeptical of: primers. This product is designed be used on clean skin before your foundation application, and should smooth your complexion while making your makeup last longer. However, we've either been completely disappointed and see no longwear results, or are just overwhelmed by the amount of options to choose from. Either way, it hasn't earned holy grail status in our daily routine.
In almost every makeup application appointment we've ever had, the artist has gushed about the paramount importance of primer. We asked Lihja Stewart, Make Up For Ever's Director of Education and Artistry, if primer was really necessary. To our surprise, she said no, and we were grateful for the refreshing perspective.
"It depends on your personal needs," Stewart told POPSUGAR via email. "If you want your makeup to last longer, yes. If you are happy with your skin texture and the wearability of your foundation, then no, not everyone really needs primer."
However, if you're unhappy with your skin's appearance, you might want to re-consider. Primer is designed to re-texturize your skin. It smooths the surface by filling fine lines, wrinkles, and over-sized pores (but not clogging them!), making your foundation application flawless. It then locks it down ("like Velcro," said Stewart), improving its wear.
With benefits like that, it's hard to imagine disliking primer. But if you've been dissatisfied with it in the past, that's likely because you accidentally picked the wrong formula. According to Stewart, you should be shopping for primer by skin type and by the product's ingredients.
She recommends those with oily complexions shop for mattifying primers, like Make Up For Ever Step 1 Mattifying Primer ($37), which controls shine. "For textured skin, like large pores and fine lines, try a silicone-based primer for its smoothing benefits," she suggested. NYX Cosmetics Studio Perfect Primer ($13) is an affordable option that is comparable to many higher-end silicone-based formulas.
For dry skin types, Stewart shared that hydration is key. "Try a nourishing primer with emollients for an added glow to the skin," she advised. We love Too Faced Hangover Primer ($32), which contains coconut water and probiotics to make your complexion look healthy and dewy. Those with combination skin can use a few different formulas depending what's needed where (try a mattifying primer on your nose with a hydrating treatment on your cheeks!)
As for ingredients, you need to do a little digging into the likely lengthy list on the packaging of both your primer and your go-to foundation. Depending on whether they are silicone- or water-based will make all the difference in your makeup's durability and wear. "You should not use a silicone-based primer with a water-based foundation because it can cause separation and patchiness due to the formula bases," Stewart revealed. "Silicone is an oil and of course a water-based foundation is water; as we know, oil and water do not mix." Learn how to decipher your products' formulas here.
Now that you know how to find the perfect primer for your complexion, all that's left to do is apply it. You can use your fingers (great for small areas like on blemishes or dark circles) or a foundation brush (which will create an even application all over the face). Once you let it soak into your skin for a few minutes, slick on your favorite foundation, and you'll be set for the rest of the day. Still on your quest for the perfect base? Discover some pro-approved foundation picks here.

This May Be the Messiest Maternity Shoot We've Seen - but It's Awesome
When it rains, it pours, but one family didn't let that stop them from having the outdoor maternity photo shoot of their dreams. Jon and Brittany Barton and their two boys, Declan, 4, and Noah, 2, decided that they were going to celebrate their incoming bundle of joy in the coolest, messiest way: with a mud fight.
Elaine Baca of Lane B Photography knew that Brittany and her crew were outdoor people, so when it seemed like, at 38 weeks pregnant, she was going to settle on an indoor location after weeks of relentless rain in Waxahachie, TX, Elaine suggested something a little more unconventional. "They have a huge backyard which backs up to a field and I knew it had lots of muddy puddles, so I asked her what she thought about playing in the rain and ending with a mud fight," Elaine told POPSUGAR Moms. "I don't think she even hesitated, she said she trusted my vision and wanted to go for it!"
Because baby Matthew was coming any day - he was born just nine days after the shoot! - Elaine knew that they'd have to work quickly. Rather than a carefully posed shoot, she let the family have their fun in the mud and captured many candid and special moments for them to remember what their family was like at exactly this point in time.
"For me, photo sessions are all about preserving memories and making new ones," Elaine said. "With small children it's about remembering their ever-changing personalities and quirks that make them unique. I hope that more families consider doing documentary-style sessions with little to no posing. With this genre of photography, parents don't have to stress about getting their little ones to sit still and look at the camera and kids get to be kids while doing something everyone enjoys."

My Unplanned Pregnancy Is the Greatest Gift I Never Knew I Needed
We're happy to present this article by Chaunie Brusie from one of our favorite sites, YourTango.
We were preparing for our first-ever vacation alone, sans kids, to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico (read: alcohol), completely paid for by my in-laws (read: amazing) and I couldn't have been more excited. I was enjoying - for the first time in my life - being pregnancy-free and breastfeeding-free, feeling good about my career and enjoying a little bit of freedom as our kids reached those magical ages of being able to sleep through the night.
I distinctly remember visiting a friend who had just had a baby and holding him, announcing, "Gosh, it feels so good to hold this baby - and then give him back." I had absolutely ZERO desire for another baby at that point.
And then, of course, I got pregnant.
I spent most of my first trimester feeling horribly sick and wallowing in self-pity. Mexico was miserable (as much as I hate to admit that) and I felt almost embarrassed to have another pregnancy catch me by surprise. I was nowhere near excited about having another baby and almost dreaded starting over again.
Now that Sara is here, almost every time I look at her, I feel a twinge of guilt. I love her so much it hurts ... and in some way, I realize my love for her feels a little different than my love for my other kids. It's not different in the amount I love her, of course, but it's colored through a lens of intense gratitude.
Gratitude that she is here when I felt like I wasn't ready for a baby.
Gratitude that despite my horrific attitude, she is healthy.
Gratitude that once again, I have a daughter when I wasn't planning on getting pregnant - a daughter that is such an incredible gift I say a prayer of thanks every day.
Gratitude that in a time of life that's a bit stressful for us right now, especially in our marriage, I have such a source of love that lights up my entire world with just one smile.
Sara is such a joy to all of us. She is an incredibly sweet baby and I just can't help but think, when I look at her, how I could have doubted that she would be anything but more love in our lives. I guess I just feel humbled and thankful for her.
Despite my own miserable selfishness, I still get to have her in my life. I am so, so lucky.
I don't know, maybe it's just me, but there's something about having a baby when she wasn't "planned" that makes her feel even more like a gift that I didn't know I needed.

"We are happy to announce that we are expecting a child, a sibling to Prince Alexander," the couple said. "We are looking forward to welcoming a new little member to our family." Sofia, who wed Philip in a stunning ceremony in June 2015, is due in September. If their newest addition is anywhere near as cute as little Alexander, we're in for a real treat.

Major Lazer's "Run Up" already has a prime spot on our Summer jams playlist thanks to its infectious lyrics and impossible-not-to-dance-to beat. Choreographer Marvin Brown seems to feel the same way, as he created a dance routine that takes our love for the song to the next level. Watch these five guys - Zachary Venegas, Dez Soliven, Jamal Deandre, Robert Green, and Darrion Gallegos - nail the moves (on top of a cliff, no less), and be prepared to not only get your whole entire life but dance along as well. Kristen Wiig Is in Talks to Join Where'd You Go, Bernadette
It seems like it's been years since Cate Blanchett signed on for the lead role in the movie adaptation of Where'd You Go, Bernadette. (OK, it's been since November 2015.) Now, the rest of the characters are being cast, slowly but surely. The latest addition is Kristen Wiig! Richard Linklater is directing the film, based on Maria Semple's 2012 bestseller. We couldn't be happier about the choices so far, and we can't wait to see who else gets cast.
