Mac 'n' Cheetos? Yes, Please! Disney World's New Food Truck Is Mac and Cheese Themed!
Excuse me while I curl up for a gouda and cheddar-induced nap, because Walt Disney World is rolling out a new food truck - and it's mac 'n' cheese themed! Located on the west side of Disney Springs, the new Mac and Cheese Truck is expected to open in March, and we hope it's soon, because just look at that cheeseburger mac! According to the official Disney Parks blog, the new mac 'n' cheese flavors go heavy on the toppings, and we're talking bacon, fries, and full-size onion rings. Is your mouth watering yet?
The Mac and Cheese Truck will offer more than just your standard noodles and cheese combo. For instance, the Bacon Cheeseburger Mac 'n' Cheese includes creamy cheddar and American cheese mixed with ground beef and topped with bacon, shredded lettuce, tomato, sliced pickles, ketchup, mustard, and crispy shoestring french fries. The Crunchy Mac 'n' Cheese is just as over the top with six different cheeses and a generous topping of crunchy cheese puffs. If you're in the mood for some seafood, the Lobster and Shrimp Mac 'n' Cheese combines cheddar and Swiss cheese with buttery lobster, shrimp, and a few crackers for a bit of crunch.
For other cheesy food options, you could try the Smoked Brisket Mac 'n' Cheese made with smoked gouda and cheddar and topped with smoked brisket, sweet and tangy barbecue sauce, crispy onion rings, and chives. Or, grab a fork and dig into the Parmesan Mac 'n' Cheese, an Italian dream combining creamy Alfredo sauce, crispy fried chicken, marinara sauce, Parmesan cheese, and basil. Just because we aren't mice doesn't mean we can't still appreciate how irresistible these new mac 'n' cheeses sound. (Get it? Mice? Cheese?) Keep reading for a closer look at some of the new food truck's mouthwatering options, and head to Disney World when you get a chance to get your fix of cheesy goodness.

Costco Has Everything-Bagel-Crusted Cod Fillets, and Weeknight Dinner Will Never Be the Same
Everything-bagel-inspired foods have become increasingly popular over the last year, and Costco is getting in on the trend in a delicious way. The store is carrying everything-bagel-crusted cod fillets coated in a blend of poppy seeds, sesame seeds, garlic, onion, and cheddar cheese. The fish is sold frozen and all you have to do is bake it until it's crunchy on the outside and flaky on the inside. Talk about a weeknight-dinner win! I'd serve this with simple roasted broccoli or greens with a Dijon vinaigrette.
The fish is from High Liner, a Canada-based company dedicated to providing responsibly sourced seafood to customers. The brand has other tasty frozen fish options including lemon pepper sole, salmon with dill sauce, and crunchy fish sticks. I'm all about that garlicky, seed-crusted cod, though. Trader Joe's widely popularized the idea of sprinkling lots of foods with the spices found on an everything bagel when it launched its $1 Everything but the Bagel Seasoning Blend, and restaurants have added menu items with similar spice blends, too. If you're all aboard the everything train, look out for this cod on your next Costco shopping trip.

Out of My Way - Cotton Candy Grapes Are Back at Trader Joe's!
If you haven't done so already, go ahead and assemble your tag team for your next trip to Trader Joe's, because cotton candy grapes are officially back on shelves, and we'd hate for you to miss out on this golden opportunity to snag some. Cotton candy grapes are seedless green grapes that taste exactly like the hand-spun sugar clouds you used to eat at carnivals as a kid. They're a hybrid version of different grape vines and they're normally only sold during the Summer months, between August and September.
For the past few years, they've been a huge hit in grocery stores like Trader Joe's, Costco, Whole Foods, and Wegmans. Luckily for us, the grapes arrived at Trader Joe's early this year, and people are already going crazy for them. "This is the first year I have found them at Trader Joe's and bonus this early in the season. I brought a package home and OMG they are so sweet!" one happy shopper wrote on Instagram.
According to another user who spotted packages on shelves in her local store, they're being sold for $5.50 a pound. If you're looking for a way to satisfy your sweet tooth, you might want to run to Trader Joe's as quickly as you can.

I'm Getting MAJOR Shania Twain Vibes From Kim Kardashian's Sheer Leopard Bodysuit
If you thought Kim Kardashian's last leopard look was wild, you haven't seen anything yet. The day after Kim stepped out in a head-to-toe animal-print ensemble, she made another appearance in Paris, wearing a seriously bold look. Kim turned to designer Azzedine Alaia once again for her outfit, this time opting for a sheer leopard bodysuit.
Her almost-see-through choice still selectively covered her, ahem, assets with opaque velvet fabric. Is anyone else getting serious Shania Twain "That Don't Impress Me Much?" music video vibes? She paired the whole look with her go-to PVC heels and flaunted a matching beret in an Instagram photo. Read on to see more glimpses of Kim's look - would you dare to try it yourself?

Captain Marvel: The Way Nick Fury Loses His Eye Is Kinda Perfect (Don't Tell Him I Said That)
Warning: eye-related Captain Marvel spoilers below!
You might sit down to watch Captain Marvel and think you're going to see a movie all about ass-kicking human turned ass-kicking alien Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) and how she learns to fully embrace her jaw-dropping powers, but the true heart of the film is actually a love story - a love story between one Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Goose the "cat." But theirs is a tragic love story, one that ends with Fury losing an eye. So, you know, not exactly ideal.
Not long after Carol, a Kree alien, crash-lands on earth and begins investigating the scientist who an enemy alien race, the Skrulls, are after, she bumps into blossoming S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury. Although they don't exactly get along at first - he sees her as a Blockbuster-ruining criminal dressed to play laser tag, to be fair - they eventually become thick as thieves, helping each other out of sticky situations as they come to realize the full scope of how the Kree-Skrull war has affected both sides, as well as the truth behind Carol's origins.
But anyway - back to Goose.
Related: Captain Marvel: Don't Forget About This Important Item - It Plays a Big Role
The scientist that Carol is investigating is actually her former Air Force commander (Annette Bening), whom she doesn't recognize at first since her memories were wiped upon becoming an alien six years earlier. As she looks into the woman's past, she has memory flashes of the woman having a cat that was fond of Carol. She meets the same cat, Goose, when she goes to a government facility with Fury to find files about the scientist, which is where Fury and Goose's love affair is born.
Fury can't help but stoop down and immediately cuddle with and compliment Goose, who takes an instant liking to him.
A few scenes later, in the facility's file room, we discover that Carol's Air Force superior wasn't actually human but an undercover Kree named Mar-Vell. Oh, and her former pet, Goose, isn't actually a house cat, but a Flerken, aka an alien race that presents as an average-looking tabby. But Flerkens actually have a myriad of incredibly long (and strong) tentacles that can extend from their mouths, which have the power to incapacitate full-grown soldiers.
Despite knowing that a terrifying intergalactic beast is housed within his insanely cute exterior, Fury gets on great with Goose, who only ever chooses to sick his tentacles on the bad guys. But toward the end of the film, after a few stressful fight scenes, Fury holds up Goose in front of his face to coo at him. That's when Goose decides to let his annoyance at being held be known by swatting Fury across his left eye - something my own cat has attempted to do to me on more than one occasion.
Related: Both of Captain Marvel's End Credits Scenes Are Important, but For Very Different Reasons
Fortunately my cat doesn't have the kind of bacteria in her claws that, when it comes in contact with a human eye, will result in a serious, incurable infection. The same can't be said of Goose, whose split-second scratch ends up being the reason Fury loses his eye a few days later. But Goose and Fury's love runs deep, because the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent still adopts the little troublemaker, even putting a cat bed in his office so Goose can come to work with him. Rather than select one of the many glass eyes that a young Phil Coulson presents him with in his office, Fury decides to rock an eye patch instead.
At first, I found myself surprised at how remarkably chill he is about the fact an alien furball took out his eye, but then I remembered Goose's face and it all made sense. Thanks for the history lesson, Captain Marvel!
Lionel Richie Breaks Down in Tears After Hearing a Blind Singer's American Idol Audition
Is someone cutting onions? Did a piece of dust just fly into my eye? Or am I full-on crying because of a deeply moving audition on the most recent episode of American Idol? (Spoiler alert: it's the latter.)
During the most recent episode of the singing competition, judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan were treated to the jaw-dropping voice of Shayy, a high school student who belted out Andra Day's emotional single "Rise Up." But before she launched into the stirring tune, she relayed to the judges why she was holding a cane - a year earlier she began complaining to her mother about not being able to see the white board in school, and a few doctor's appointments later, Shayy was told that she had a brain tumor. While the doctors were able to save her life, the tumor took her sight. But that hasn't stopped her from doing what she loves most: singing.
After Katy told Shayy that she sang like "an angel," a very teary-eyed Lionel took a moment to hug her and praise her for her strength. "You have wrecked me," he said, visibly emotional. "Thank you for that . . . you're a lesson to us all, OK? Because it's the power of the spirit, and you're the reminder of just how blessed we are."
Like another contestant from the same episode whom the judges called "genius," Shay was sent through to Hollywood with multiple hugs and applause from Katy, Luke, and Lionel. Watch her performance, above!
Ava DuVernay's Teaser For When They See Us Details the Painful Story of the Central Park Five
Director Ava DuVernay has officially released the teaser for her upcoming limited series When They See Us on Netflix. The four-part show will chronicle the story of how five teenage boys of color from Harlem were wrongly convicted of a rape they didn't commit in 1989, as well as the 25-year fight for justice following their conviction. The clip immediately shows the emotional toll the racially charged case has on the young boys, their families, and the community.
The show is based on the real-life account of those teens - Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana, and Korey Wise - who came to be known as the Central Park Five. On March 1, DuVernay - who also cowrote the project - tweeted about the series, writing, "They are millions of young people of color who are blamed, judged and accused on sight." DuVernay has previously worked on significant historical films - including 2014's Selma and 2016's 13th - that explore the history of racism in America. The latest is sure to be just as necessary and intriguing. Netflix will premiere When They See Us on May 31.
Ahead of the Netflix Revival, Check in With the Original Baby-Sitters Club
These days, it seems like every iconic '90s property is getting rebooted. The latest addition to the reboot mania: The Baby-Sitters Club, the 1995 movie based on the novel series by Ann M. Martin. Netflix announced in February that they are producing a 10-episode live-action series based on the beloved novels; casting has yet to be announced. The young actresses who played the seven friends at the heart of the 1995 adaptation have had wildly varying careers since we last saw them on screen: some have become easily recognizable names, others are steadily working actors, and others have chosen to leave the industry altogether. Both of Captain Marvel's End Credits Scenes Are Important, but For Very Different Reasons
Warning: MAJOR Captain Marvel spoilers below, so proceed with caution!
Brie Larson has officially made her bigscreen debut as Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, and we couldn't be more thrilled. Marvel's latest ass-kicking superhero is the first woman at the center of one of their action-heavy films, and she fits in great alongside the rest of the Avengers we've come to know and love over the years.
But aside from sharing traits with other films in the MCU - like pithy one-liners, dazzling battles, and furry sidekicks - Captain Marvel also includes what has become a staple of most Marvel movies: a hint-laden postcredits scene. Actually, there are two postcredits scenes in Captain Marvel, and both are very important, albeit in very different ways.
If you're one of the many flocking to movie theaters over the next few days to catch Carol in all of her glowing, super-powered action, but you have a few questions about the extra scenes that play once the credits begin their painfully slow crawl, you've come to the right place. The first and most important scene happens relatively quickly, functioning as more of a midcredits scene. The second is much more lighthearted, but contains a special nod to one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most powerful objects, so it's not to be missed, either.
Ahead, you'll find explanations for what happens in each, as well as what they mean for the future of the franchise.
The Dirt: Think Mick Mars Looks Familiar? He's Game of Thrones's Worst Villain
We never knew that we needed a Mötley Crüe biopic in our lives, but now that it's happening, it feels so right. Based on Mötley Crüe's bestselling 2001 autobiography The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band, this long-awaited biopic will follow the story of the heavy metal band's rise from obscurity to super stardom and international fame during the course of the 1980s. You may not recognize all of the names of the cast (though you'll definitely know Machine Gun Kelly, who's playing Tommy Lee, and Pete Davidson, who's playing record executive Tom Zutaut), but even if the name Iwan Rheon doesn't sound familiar, you'll recognize plenty of the other shows and movies he's been in.
Thirty-three-year-old Welsh actor Iwan Rheon portrays Mick Mars - lead guitarist of Mötley Crüe - in the film, which makes sense, as the actor has been singing and songwriting since the age of 16. However, he actually got his start in theater, his first starring role being Moritz Stiefel in the London production of Spring Awakening in 2008. For his performance, Rheon won the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical at the 2010 Olivier Awards, and he soon after landed the role of the timid Simon Bellamy on the British sci-fi drama Misfits, his first major TV role. Then, once he'd announced his departure on Twitter at the end of season three, the actor got ready to take on his first film role.
After costarring in the 2012 crime drama Wasteland and playing real-life military commander Daniel O'Leary in the 2013 Spanish–Venezuelan historical drama The Liberator, Rheon landed his breakthrough role playing Ramsay Bolton in Game of Thrones. Believe it or not, Rheon had originally auditioned for the role of Jon Snow, but we honestly couldn't imagine anyone else playing GoT's most villainous psychopath (and luckily, there's no hard feelings between him and Kit Harington, as they are still good friends). Rheon also asserted that the producers made the right choice in giving the role to Harington over him, and as he told Interview, "It would've been a very different Jon Snow if I'd played him."
Even though Ramsay Bolton met his demise in season six when he was (spoiler alert!) mauled by a pack of dogs, Rheon's appeared in plenty of TV shows since then, including the British sitcom Vicious, the BBC military drama Our Girl, the unfortunately short-lived ABC Marvel Comics series Inhumans, and the sci-fi horror miniseries Residue (in which he plays the boyfriend of fellow GoT cast member Natalia Tena). He has also continued to appear in stage productions in London and Wales, most recently playing William Bloor in Foxfinder.

Besides his upcoming role in The Dirt (which debuts on Netflix on March 22), he also appears in the recently released romance Berlin, I Love You alongside a whole bunch of A-list actors, including Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren, Hayden Panettiere, Jenna Dewan, Diana Argon, and several others. Coming up, you can catch him in Mission of Honor when it's released in the US on March 15, which tells the story of the Polish pilots known as Squadron 303 during World War II, and a dark comedy thriller called The Toll, which hasn't yet received a release date.
The Act Trailer: The Chilling True-Crime Story of Gypsy and Dee Dee Blanchard Comes to Hulu
The stranger-than-fiction true crime story of mother-daughter pair Dee Dee Blanchard and Gypsy Blanchard is coming to the small screen courtesy of Hulu, and the first trailer, above, is downright chilling.
In The Act, which is being billed as "a seasonal anthology series that tells startling true crime stories," we meet the onscreen version of Dee Dee (Escape at Dannemora's Patricia Arquette), who initially appears to be a dedicated mother caring for her extremely ill daughter, Gypsy Rose (The Kissing Booth's Joey King). Over time the truth about their troubled bond is revealed, as people begin to wonder if Gypsy is indeed as sick as her mom says, or if it's a devastating case of Munchausen syndrome by proxy. Eventually - as we see in the trailer when a seemingly healthy Gypsy is asked in the courtroom if she killed her mom - their relationship ends in murder.
The Blanchard case was most recently explored in HBO's 2017 documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest, as well as Michelle Dean's investigative piece about the ordeal for BuzzFeed News (Dean is serving as coshowrunner alongside Channel Zero's Nick Antosca). AnnaSophia Robb and Chloë Sevigny also costar in the series, which is set to premiere on March 20.

Meanwhile, Cardi B will make her Vegas residency debut. Whether you're into R&B, rock, hip-hop, pop, or soul, there's a show for you! Read on to see some of the biggest musicians heading to Vegas in the coming months.
The Act: Here's What Gypsy Blanchard Is Doing in 2019
With a cast that features Escape at Dannemora's Patricia Arquette and The Kissing Booth's Joey King, Hulu's The Act sheds light on one of the strangest and most tragic true crime stories ever. It weaves together a story about Munchausen syndrome by proxy and murder, revealing how Dee Dee Blanchard's toxic relationship with her daughter Gypsy Rose went out of hand. Dee Dee's story ended in a grisly death, but it seems as though Gypsy's has only begun since her mother's passing.
If you haven't already heard of the story, here's a quick introduction to it. Dee Dee had Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a mental illness in which a parent, guardian, or caregiver exaggerates or induces illness in their child or someone in their care for attention or sympathy. For years, Dee Dee made her daughter undergo treatments for illnesses such as leukemia, epilepsy, and muscular dystrophy - in addition to convincing many that Gypsy had the mental capacity of a 7-year-old. For years, Gypsy was subjected to unnecessary medications and surgeries, following whatever her mother said in fear of retaliation. Dee Dee also kept a distance from her ex-husband, convincing Gypsy that her father didn't care about her. Gypsy would eventually seek a way out. In June 2015, her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn killed her mother with multiple stab wounds because Gypsy asked him to.
Godejohn pleaded not guilty but was eventually convicted of first-degree murder with a sentence to life in 2018. Gypsy is currently serving a 10-year sentence in the Missouri Chillicothe Correctional Center after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.
Gypsy has been working on her GED in prison as of 2018. During an interview with Dr. Phil, the TV psychologist asked Gypsy if the murder was justified.
"No, she didn't deserve what happened," Gypsy said. "If anything, she just deserved to be where I am."
Her stepmother, Kristy Blanchard, has said that Gypsy, now 27, is doing well in prison. Speaking with HelloGiggles, Kristy recalled that her stepdaughter mentioned an interest in a skilled profession when she gets out of jail, possibly culinary school or library work.
"She is thriving," her stepmother said in a separate interview with Springfield News-Leader. "There has been no long-term side effects from all the medication her mom had given her. She has a clean bill of health, thank God - and I really only think what it has done was stunt her growth."
In 2024, Gypsy will be eligible for probation, right before her 33rd birthday. Her time in prison has been something of a reflective and reparative period for her. In Mommy Dead and Dearest, HBO's documentary about her case, Gypsy said, "I get to start over. I'm newly born."
Allow Captain Marvel to Introduce You to Your Next Fuzzy Little Obsession: Goose
Wow, Captain Marvel is so focused on the humans. Everything is, like, Brie Larson this, and Samuel L. Jackson that. But we've got our sights set on a much smaller (and much furrier!) kind of character. A little tabby cat! But there's so much more to this little guy than meets the eye. In fact, it's not really a cat at all.
As we're sure you've already seen in the trailer - or in the film itself, since it's finally out! - Captain Marvel's cast includes Goose, which is the name the adorable faux-cat goes by. That's a prime '90s reference, one of many in the film, since it takes place in 1995. (If you don't know, "Goose" is a reference to Top Gun.) In this part of the Marvel Universe, Goose is what's known as a "Flerken." They're a race of aliens that just so happen to look like the average house cat. According to the Marvel Wiki, they "could lay up to 117 eggs and possessed a myriad of tentacles that could extend from their mouths. Their bodies also held pocket realities, bubbles of space and time that existed in other worlds." Um, wow. Casual.
On top of all that, whenever Goose decides his pals - Nick Fury, especially - are in trouble, he can open his mouth incredibly wide to reveal a GIANT, gaping, mouth filled with said tentacles, as well as razor sharp teeth. Over the course of the film, Goose drags a number of foes to their deaths and into his mouth, but he also happens to swallow something both familiar and important to fans of the MCU for safekeeping: the Tesseract.
But during a trip to the Captain Marvel set over the Summer, we happened to learn a few more things about Flerkens that you wouldn't necessarily know just from watching the movie. For instance, they're utterly helpless when they're muzzled.
Our Summer set visit actually happened to land on a very fortuitous day. All of the day's scenes involved the cute character, which was created half using digital effects, half using cat actors. We learned that there were four different cats used to create Goose, and they're all identical-looking tabby cats. Their names are Gonzo, Rizzo, Reggie, and Archie. Seriously, you can find them on the official Animals For Hollywood website, which I have graciously tracked down for you. Each respective kitty serves a different purpose: one is for looks, one is for "paw batting" (yep), one is for running, and the last, if I remember correctly, is good for rubbing against legs.
During one scene, we watched as they recruited Reggie (the runner) for the corridor trot. First, they walked him along the route. "He likes to run along as he learns his route," the cat wrangler said. There were two cat wranglers, actually. For this shot, the day's female wrangler stood at one end of the corridor, the beginning, and the male wrangler stood at the other. He had some sort of loud clicker that told the cat when and where to walk.
In another scene, Samuel L. Jackson interacted with a stuffed version of Goose, presumably to be animated later. In one part of the scene, we watched as he removed the aforementioned muzzle from the doll. In another, he spoke directly to it: "I'm going to pick you up now, and I'm trusting you not to eat me."
To be honest, we still want to cuddle Goose, tentacles and all.
If You Don't Sit Through Captain Marvel's Credits, You'll Miss Something Important
Captain Marvel has finally blasted its way into theaters, which means Brie Larson can relax about inadvertently spoiling the film's many twists. But one thing everyone who's planning on seeing the movie should know is just how many postcredits scenes you should be prepared to sit through once the kickass Carol Danvers finishes punching the lights out of . . . well, basically everyone.
If you're one of the many who will likely flock to movie theaters over the next few days to catch Captain Marvel in action, then be aware that there are two - count 'em, two - extra scenes that play after the credits begin their painfully slow crawl. The first and most important scene happens relatively quickly, functioning as more of a midcredits scene. The second is much more lighthearted, but contains a special nod to one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most powerful objects, so it's not to be missed, either. Wondering what goes down in each of the postcredits scenes? We'll break it down for you below.
Warning: again, MAJOR Captain Marvel spoilers ahead, so stop reading now if you don't want to know what happens!
What Happens in Captain Marvel's First Postcredits Scene?
Not long after the first batch of credits for the film start scrolling, we find ourselves in the high-tech, top-secret lab at Avengers headquarters that we've seen in past Marvel films. There, Steve Rogers/Captain America and Natasha/Black Widow are staring in horrified shock at the screens around them, which are tallying the ever-growing number of people who disappeared around the world when Thanos completed his infamous snap at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. (We've seen bits and pieces of this scene in the Avengers: Endgame trailer.) "This is a nightmare," Captain America says, before Black Widow responds, "I've had better nightmares."
Then Bruce Banner strolls in, alerting the pair that the device found post-snap has stopped emitting its signal. They gather in front of the small piece of old technology, which is encased in high-tech devices of Banner's creation, no doubt trying to track where the signal is going. The device in question? The '90s-era beeper Nick Fury is able to send a message out on just before he turns to dust in the postcredits scene for Infinity War that glows with Captain Marvel's signature red, white, and gold insignia.
Obviously, having watched Captain Marvel and seen Carol Danvers personally give Fury the beeper to use in emergencies, we know where and to who the signal was going. Banner, Captain America, and Black Widow find out soon enough, too. Just as they start to fret over the fact the signal is no longer pulsing, Carol magically appears in her suit inside the lab, and asks the group, "Where is Fury?" So, yes: Captain Marvel can time travel, apparently, and will definitely be in Endgame.
What Happens in Captain Marvel's Second Postcredits Scene?
If you finish watching this movie and don't rate Goose the Not-Actually-a-Cat-but-Basically-a-Cat your favorite character, then we suggest reevaluating your life immediately. The cuddly little guy is actually a deadly breed of alien called a "flerken", but just happens to appear on earth in cat form. But whenever Goose decides his pals - Nick Fury, especially - are in trouble, he can open his mouth incredibly wide to reveal a GIANT, gaping mouth filled with tentacles and razor sharp teeth (so, not your usual house cat).
Over the course of the film, Goose drags a number of foes to their deaths and into his mouth, but he also happens to swallow something both familiar and important to fans of the MCU for safekeeping: the Tesseract. The immensely powerful, glowing blue cube is what powers the light-speed engine that Mar-Vell (Annette Bening) is working on earlier on in the film, and has popped up previously in everything from Captain America: The First Avenger to Infinity War.
Goose finally decides to release the Tesseract in the final postcredits scene, which happens after all of the credits have crawled by. In a lengthy, and hilarious, sequence, we watch as Goose climbs on top of Fury's desk (yes, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent adopts him as his own pet), and slowly coughs up the mother of all fur balls, which happens to include the Tesseract. Goose then offers up an adorable little meow, and casually saunters off. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better ending.
You Haven't Watched the Original Queer Eye Yet? What Are You Doing, Hunny?
If you're a true Queer Eye fan, then you must know that the Fab Five we know and love from the hit Netflix series are not the first to transform lives (and wardrobes). Fifteen years before Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, and Jonathan Van Ness stepped on the scene, the original Fab Five debuted on Bravo. The series - which was originally called Queer Eye for the Straight Guy before it was shorted to Queer Eye in its third season to expand its scope - was the first of its kind and a surprise success, and we couldn't be more grateful for it, as it later led to the Netflix reboot we know so well.
Rather than Antoni, Tan, Karamo, Bobby, and Jonathan, the original Queer Eye starred Ted Allen, Carson Kressley, Jai Rodriguez, Thom Filicia, and Kyan Douglas, known as the Food and Wine Connoisseur, the Fashion Savant, the Culture Vulture, the Design Doctor, and the Grooming Guru, respectively. Just like Netflix's reboot, each episode began with the Fab Five in an SUV discussing their subject, whom they would make over and prepare throughout the course of the episode for a big debut in the end.
While you're waiting for the third season of Netflix's Queer Eye to debut, there's no better way to spend your time than to catch up with the original that inspired its reboot, because - in our opinion - you can't appreciate the all-new series until you've watched the one that came first. Luckily, you can still enjoy the early-aughts series - can you believe? Amazon Prime Video gives viewers the option of buying individual episodes for $2 each or buying a whole season for $10, and there are also plenty of episodes available to stream on YouTube. Get ready to binge and thank us later, hunny.
These Pictures of Leonardo DiCaprio at Peak Teen Heartthrob Status Are a Major Trip
You may find this hard to believe, but Leonardo DiCaprio wasn't born sexy. When he first appeared on the scene in the late '80s, Leo was just a baby-faced tween with adorably floppy hair and a sweet smile, almost unrecognizable from the superhottie he is now. From his first big supporting role in What's Eating Gilbert Grape to his starring roles in the megapopular flicks Romeo + Juliet and Titanic, little Leo definitely has come a long way. Read on to see what the now 44-year-old actor looked like when he first started his career as a fresh-faced 15-year-old.
This Is the Best Blowdryer I've Ever Used – and It's on Sale Right Now
Dermstore is having a major sale right now and it includes many cult-status hair tools, including my personal favorite T3 Cura Luxe Hair Dryer. This blow dryer has been the only one I've used since I got it two years ago, and I'm unwilling to give it up for anything else.
I hate having to dry my hair at all, but the Cura Luxe makes it so much easier and is jam-packed with features. First off, the dryer is lightweight, so my weak arms don't start aching halfway through my blow out, and also quiet enough that I can dry my hair without waking up my roommate. It also turns off automatically when I set it down, so I don't have to deal with my makeup getting swept off my vanity by a gust of wind every time I need to section out a new portion of my hair.
Another nifty feature? It's got two speeds, five heat settings, and a cool button so you can customize anything about your blowout. Hands down the best part, though, is that it dries my hair faster than any other blow dryer I've ever used thanks to the ionic technology, and for that alone it's worth the money.
It usually retails for $285, but is on sale for just $229 (20 percent off). Considering how high-quality the dryer is, I suggest you grab one ASAP. Check it out, ahead.

Katy Perry Looks Hot in All Hair Colors, but You'll Never Guess Her Natural Hue
In 2017, Katy Perry went from her signature jet-black hair to a platinum pixie. The drastic change astonished many of her fans, who primarily knew her as a raven-haired performer (who occasionally experimented with bright colorful hues), when in reality, she had been coloring her hair darker for years. Thanks to the throwback photos Perry has shared on Instagram, it's clear that her natural color is a sandy blond.

The 5 Best Shampoos For Scalp Psoriasis, According to a Dermatologist
For some people, buying shampoo isn't always a super involved process. For others, it's a little more complicated, especially if you have scalp psoriasis.
Scalp psoriasis is a common skin condition in which red, itchy patches and scales form on the area due to a buildup of skin cells. Irritation is a common side effect, which is why those suffering from the condition often have to look out for specific types of shampoos and treatments to use as a way to combat it. That includes using formulas with medicated ingredients or products that include coal tar, an active that helps slow down the production of excess skin cells.
We asked a certified dermatologist Joshua Zeichner, MD, which shampoos are among the best for treating scalp psoriasis - read ahead to find a few of his picks (and some of our favorites, too).
The 1 Beauty Item I Was Ashamed of Using as a Woman of Color
There were so many hair accessories I used growing up.
Whether it was the hair clips I wore as a child or the huge banana clip I used to create a faux-Mohawk during my preteen years, I went through phases of trying to enhance or protect my hair. Since I transitioned to a less-is-more approach (and grew out of many embarrassing hairstyles), I've said goodbye to a few and hello to new ones.
Four years ago, I decided to wear my hair naturally curly. It took some time for people to adjust. I was questioned by my family, who couldn't understand why I was choosing to air-dry my curls instead of straightening it. I received countless negative side comments, like, "Are you really going to wear it like that to a job interview?" or "Your hair looks so much better blown out." The icing on the cake was when people attempted to rake their fingers through my 3c curls without my permission.
When it came to hair accessories, other hair types like wavy or straight could easily use scrunchies, bobby pins, and headbands, but when I started learning more about how to manage my curly hair, I saw just how different my routine was to others.
After watching countless YouTube videos filled with the "must-have items" needed for curly hair, I went to my local beauty supply store. Aside from adding the deep conditioners, the hydrating creams, and the oils to my shopping cart, I also wanted to find the holy grail of night products: the silk night cap.
Also known as wraps, bonnets, du rags, or whatever you prefer to call them, this is an important beauty item for people with natural hair. It can help protect certain hairstyles, manage frizz, and prevent tangles in the morning. I'm a sleep tosser and deal with a ton of frizz, so the night cap was the perfect solution to keep my curls intact. I also started using silk pillow cases and scrunchies on a regular basis.
One night I went to a sleepover at a friend's house and packed my night cap along with all my other things. When it was time for bed, I did my night routine and slipped it on. At first, I got confused looks from my friends, who've never seen me nor anyone else wear a night cap before. Then, they started to make jokes. I tried to laugh it off, but on the inside I felt embarrassed and ashamed. I always knew I was different from some of my friends. From my skin tone to my hair type, I stood out, but I never knew my beauty routine could make me feel even more like an outsider. It felt unfair that my non-POC friends could get ready for bed and let their heads hit the pillow with no thought, while I had to go the extra mile to protect my hair.
"I always knew I was different from some of my friends. From my skin tone to my hair type, I stood out, but I never knew my beauty routine could make me feel even more like an outsider."
Instead of addressing my discomfort that day, I vowed that next time I would leave my night cap behind and risk the next-day frizz in order to avoid the jokes again. However, it felt like I was hiding a part of myself. I was stripping away my identity for the sake of inclusion. It wasn't until a few months later, when I stayed the night at another woman of color's home, that I was put at ease about my night cap. I watched her wrap her hair up with no insecurity or fear. It was normal for her. In that moment I asked myself, "Who was I really hiding this for?"
When it comes to natural hair, as women of color, we try so hard to make everyone around us feel comfortable while we suffer in silence. Instead of educating other people on what products or accessories our hair texture requires, we diminish our routines to fit in. I knew my friends would never go out of their way to make me feel less than or insecure about my choices, but if I was going to truly be myself – curly hair and all – I was going to have to communicate with them about how I felt.
As young students of color are being sent home for wearing their natural hair, and celebrities are ridiculed for their hairstyle choices, it's become more essential than ever for me to speak up about what's right or wrong when addressing how I wear, maintain, and protect my natural hair. I may have missed the opportunity to do it that night at my friend's house, but I won't let that happen again.
Now, instead of sneaking on my night cap or forgetting it all together, I wear it with pride. My beauty routine has become a part of my identity, and I won't lower my expectations to benefit someone else's standards.

The Bride Was the Belle of the Ball in This Beauty and the Beast-Themed Engagement Shoot
Lydia and Patrick celebrated their engagement by emulating Beauty and the Beast in this gorgeous themed photo shoot that took place at the Dayton Art Institute in Ohio. Photographer Sarah Babcock was there to capture these cute moments between the couple, and she said that the day was "a romantic cosplay Beauty and the Beast engagement session." Lydia wore a stunning golden gown with pleated detailing to channel her inner Belle, and it looked straight out of the Disney fairy tale. Patrick wore a royal blue tailcoat embellished with golden buttons and embroidery with matching pants and white knee-length socks.
The pair then swapped their costumes for matching baby-blue outfits to pose at a secondary outdoor location with an "And they lived happily ever after" sign to stick with the fairy-tale theme. Lydia even posed with some books, which was a nod toward Belle's love of reading in Beauty and the Beast. See the gorgeous photos from this fantastical engagement shoot ahead.
This Women’s History Month, the Equal Rights Amendment Is Unfinished Business

As we celebrate Women's History Month this March, an unprecedented number of women now hold public office, and an unprecedented number of viable women candidates are running for president. For decades, feminists have been dismissed with arguments that we're already living in a "post-sexism society." Could it be that, in 2019, that argument rings true?
On a very surface level, it might look like our gender problems are fixed - or on the road to being fixed. But look closer, and institutionalized, sexist oppression, gendered violence, and workplace discrimination remains pervasive and everywhere. And this month especially, we all need to remember the Equal Rights Amendment still has yet to pass. The ERA, a proposed Constitutional amendment that would afford women equal legal rights and status to men, was introduced to Congress almost a century ago. Eighty-percent of respondents to one 2016 survey erroneously believed men and women already have equal rights under the Constitution. That's untrue - and exactly what the ERA was written to address.
Policies from the Trump administration - and many state governments emboldened by that administration - to see how society is harming women or pushing them out of public life by denying them life-saving reproductive health care and protecting sexual abusers. If anything, the ERA is just as necessary as it was when it was first introduced.
How the ERA Was Born
Originally written by the famous suffragettes Alice Paul and Crystal Eastman, the ERA was first introduced to Congress in 1921. After languishing for decades, it gained massive traction in the 1970s, and its ratification once seemed like a certainty. But in the face of a heated, highly effective resistance led by conservative women, the amendment ultimately failed to be ratified by a majority (38) of states before expiring. Despite that, state legislatures are still considering and voting on the ERA, and as of last summer, Illinois became the 37th state to ratify the ERA. (The Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia state legislatures are all currently considering bills to ratify the ERA.)

In the 1970s, the United States saw landmark victories for women's rights, including the right of single women to legally access birth control in 1972, and the right to access safe, legal abortion in 1973. But despite coming close, the ERA was ultimately blocked by a salient, well-organized opposition movement, which relied on fear-mongering and gendered hypotheticals to persuade the American public. Conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly became the leader and face of the opposition, asserting the ERA would cause American women to be drafted to wars, lose "protective legislation" that accorded them safer working conditions than male laborers, and be forced away from their children and households.
Schlafly, a lawyer and housewife from Illinois, founded the Stop ERA group and led what's become known as one of the first grassroots conservative movements in the US Schlafly started by distributing pamphlets in the street, and publishing op-eds in local newspapers. Some of her op-eds included such choice lines as, "Women's libbers are promoting free sex instead of the 'slavery of marriage,'" and "They [feminists] are promoting Federal 'day-care centers' for babies instead of homes . . . abortions instead of families."

Schlafly's primary arguments were and are pretty easily debunked: Most feminists and ERA supporters oppose the draft for men and women; support fair and safe labor policies for male and female laborers; and support women making fully autonomous decisions in domestic life and child-rearing. But the gist of her argument - that the ERA would endanger women by necessitating sweepingly equal treatment of men and women - remains salient and controversial to this day.
Where's the Debate?
At the core of these historical and persistent arguments against the ERA is a debate over equality and equity: whether we should apply sweepingly equal treatment to people with vastly different experiences and needs, or simply accord people equal status and legal rights, while acknowledging differences in those experiences and needs.
For example, demanding equal treatment of women and men could be actively harmful to women, if it meant eliminating women's empowerment programs and scholarships or diversity standards meant to uplift and recruit women into fields where they are underrepresented. In the absence of such programs, which recognize the inherent place of disadvantage women come from in male-dominated fields, we build upon and expand existing inequality. But the ERA would crucially recognize American citizens as having equal status and legal rights regardless of gender, rather than mandate indiscriminate, equal treatment of men and women.
Why We Need the ERA Today
It's critical that we finally codify the equality of the sexes into the law of the land, and ensure our laws reflect today's increasingly - albeit strained - egalitarian culture through the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment. The ERA could play a role in nearly every modern women's rights struggle, from the mounting war on reproductive rights and endemic sexual violence, to safety and equal pay and opportunity in the workforce.
Specifically, as legal advocates for the ERA have argued, the amendment could protect women from pregnancy and motherhood discrimination, guarantee equal pay, and formally recognize sexual assault and rape as sex discrimination. Lenora Lapidus, director of the Women's Right's Project at the ACLU, told Cosmopolitan: "The ERA would make it clear once and for all there can be no discrimination on the basis of sex. There can be no differential treatment of individuals based on their gender."
In recent years, access to reproductive health care has been steadily eroded to the extent that millennial women's living standards in the context of maternal health and maternal death rates are substantially worse off than their mothers'. Ninety percent of US counties lack abortion providers due to an influx of discriminatory laws enacted in the last decade. Since Roe v. Wade, 1,200 laws targeting women's right to abortion access have been enacted, and more than a third of these laws were passed between 2011 and 2018 alone.
The Equal Rights Amendment could be critical to reasserting women's equal right to safety and full reproductive decision-making power in their bodies, especially in the event that Roe is dismantled or reversed in the coming years. By granting women equal status and legal rights, the ERA could be used to grant women the same right to privacy and bodily autonomy that male citizens have.
Similarly, sexual assault rates remain high, targeting an estimated one in five women, while non-reporting rates stand between about 65 to 85 percent. Sexual harassment and misconduct remain prevalent in workplaces, forcing women out of jobs, industries, education, and public life. The ERA could play a critical role in supporting the rights of survivors, and protecting the safety and inclusion of women in public spaces - including offices, by asserting their equal legal right to safe, nonviolent workplaces. The amendment could also be central to combating the gender wage gap and protecting equitable options and opportunities, by requiring equal compensation for equal work, and formally recognizing the gender wage gap as discrimination.
Where Does the ERA Stand, Today?
Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris stated explicitly last month that fighting for the ratification of the ERA would be a priority of her presidential administration. Harris is one of several leading Democratic lawmakers and feminist activists who have publicly shifted attention and public pressure back to the amendment.

Now that we're just one state away from the 38 state requirement for ratification, the ERA is a very real possibility. There is, of course, one caveat: The deadline for the amendment to be ratified by 38 states was 1982 - almost 40 years ago. At the end of 1982, only 35 states had ratified the amendment. Upon being ratified by 38 states, the validity of the ERA would likely face legal challenges because of this deadline.
A Democratic-controlled House of Representatives could bode well for passing legislation to ratify or establish a new deadline for the amendment in the future, which should underscore the critical nature of voting. And as the ERA Coalition has stated in response to Harris's declared support for the amendment, it's crucial that up and down the ballot, candidates express support for the ERA, and a determination to fight for its ratification.
As we celebrate Women's History Month, the Equal Rights Amendment is a central part of women's history, as it remains a piece of unfinished business within our lifetime. The ERA has the potential to fundamentally protect and expand women's rights, and promote tremendously important cultural shifts. And the amendment is entirely attainable if we remember and fight for it.
