9 Things to Know Before Applying Matte Lipstick
Matte lipstick isn't going anywhere. It has long been the gold standard in Old Hollywood glamour and recently took over Instagram and Tumblr in the liquid-lipstick format.
Most complaints that result from wearing matte lipstick lie in the application and the flaking it can cause - resulting in dry lips. To prep before applying the product, make sure you apply a moisturizing lip balm and let it set for a few minutes, kind of like a base coat before putting on the matte product.
