Debbie Sterling Wants to Flood "The Pink Aisle" With Tech Toys For Girls
As an engineering student at Stanford University, Debbie Sterling was shocked at the lack of female graduates in the fields of science, tech, math, and engineering. So she set out to create Goldieblox, a line of toys that encourages young girls to become engineers. In doing so, she set off a whole movement in the toy industry of how we market toys to girls.
