When You Invite Queen Máxima Somewhere, You Bet She'll Dress For the Occasion
If there's one color that can be kinda tricky to pull off, that color is likely orange. Not only does it typically remind people of things like Halloween and pumpkins, it's safe to assume this bright hue will stand out in a sea of darker ensembles. But Queen Máxima is never one to shy away from a fashion dare, and during her tour of northwest Friesland, the royal opted to incorporate the country's official color into her outfit. For a visit to the Campus Middelsee, she opted to wear a tangerine dress, coordinating with matching accessories including her earrings and purse.
While in theory it sounds a bit like orange overload, Máxima manged to tone things down a bit with a beige hat, jacket, and pumps, thus turning the look chic and super fun. See her outfit in full ahead, then dare yourself to wear an orange dress this season.
