You'll Want to Zoom In to Get a Better Look at Kim Kardashian's Makeup-Free Face

Even Kim Kardashian needs a break from wearing makeup once in awhile. The star chose to do just that during Paris Fashion Week when she showed up to the Spring 2017 Balenciaga show with a fresh face. Kim teased her makeup-free look on Twitter, writing, "Balenciaga. No makeup today." and happened to look perfectly flawless.

When we zoomed in a little closer on Kim's nude face, we realized the trick to achieving her natural glow was a little bit of eye and lip gloss. The way the gloss caught the light made the formulas function like a pigment-free, natural-looking highlighter.

As for why she chose this moment to go bare, perhaps Kim was feeling her good skin day. It's also possible that she, like Alicia Keys, wanted to make a statement that you don't need makeup to feel confident.

Regardless of the reasoning, Kim has inspired us to rethink our beauty routine. If she can sit front row at a fashion show with barely any product on, we can give up products for a day too.
