4-Year-Old Sobbing Through Stepmom's Wedding "Vows" Will Melt Your Heart
July 22 wasn't just a special day for U.S. Marine Corps. Sgt. Joshua Newville and Senior Airman Emily Leehan who exchanged vows in Presque Isle, PA, but for Joshua's 4-year-old son, Gage, as well. A video that begins in the middle of Emily reading a few "vows" to Gage shows the boy becoming completely overwhelmed with emotion as his new stepmom reads her promises to him. Although the little boy coughs and sobs through Emily's entire speech, it's hard to feel anything but joy for Gage, as it's clear his bond with his stepmom is a strong one.
Emily finishes her vows with a heartwarming sentiment: "I may not have given you the gift of life, but life surely gave me the gift of you."
