I am a camp person. I spent 11 Summers as a camper and counselor at a quintessential kids' camp, covering myself in layers of mosquito repellent before taking mud hikes, going on canoe trips, and cooking tinfoil-wrapped dinners on an open fire, and I started sending my daughter to the same camp the first year she was old enough to register as a day camper.
