But there's also a secret reason that you were right all along to hoard such an obscene amount of Mad for Mattes. Turns out, after you've hit pan on the drugstore palette, it makes a damn good storage unit for makeup brushes.
This was discovered by Reddit user 2621759912014199 (say that five times fast), who depots Mad for Mattes and reuses the containers to hold Real Techniques Eye Brushes ($20). Not only does the perfect fit look supersatisfying, but it also helps this Redditor tote the brushes around without fear of breaking, shedding, or dirtying them up.
