Jimmy Kimmel Tears Up After Ellen DeGeneres Honors His Son With a Beautiful Dedication
Jimmy Kimmel's adorable infant son, Billy Kimmel, became the topic of national conversation when he was born in April 2017 with a congenital heart defect. As he underwent multiple open-heart surgeries, his father delivered a series of powerful monologues on his late-night show about the importance of healthcare reform in America. Now, the Oscar host's close friend Ellen DeGeneres has made sure that Billy's legacy will never be forgotten.
During an appearance on her show on Tuesday, Ellen surprised a teary-eyed Jimmy when she cut to a video feed at the hospital where Billy was treated. "We called our friends at Children's Hospital LA," she said. "We have named one of the rooms of the Heart Institute floor in honor of Billy." Watch the sweet moment unfold above!
