After 2 Decades of Friendship, Mariska Hargitay and Hilary Swank Are Still Closer Than Ever
Mariska Hargitay has a swoon-worthy relationship with Peter Hermann, but we're equally obsessed with her friendship with Hilary Swank. The two first met on the set of ER when Hilary's then-husband Chad Lowe was on the show with Mariska, but the ladies became incredibly close when the couple split in 2006. The actresses have practically been attached at the hip ever since.
"Mariska has helped me through life-changing times but also helped me find the moments of celebration," Hilary said of Mariska. "She's a real girl's girl. She's not threatened by strong women, and that's rare in this business." Aside from showing off their sweet bond on the red carpet, the two spend the rest of their time talking, going through clothes, and, most importantly, laughing. "She's my family," Hilary added.
