Chip and Joanna Gaines Finally Opened Their Restaurant, and Spoiler Alert: It's Beautiful
Get excited, y'all. After months of (slightly impatient) anticipation, Chip and Joanna Gaines have finally opened the doors of Magnolia Table, their very first restaurant! The Fixer Upper stars purchased the historic Elite Café in Waco, TX, back in Oct. 2016 and have been working tirelessly to transform it into a diner all their own since then. Spoiler alert: the end result is just as freakin' perfect as you'd imagine.
Magnolia Table's decor can only be described as impeccable, thanks to Joanna's knack for savvy design. The menu focuses on breakfast and brunch items, featuring not only tried-and-true a.m. staples like bacon and eggs, but also traditional Gaines family dishes, like Chip's signature ham sandwich. Many of the items will also feature fresh produce straight from the Gaines's home garden, as Joanna revealed in a recent Instagram post.
Magnolia Table will be open from 6 a.m to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday and will only seat customers on a first-come, first-serve basis, Today reports. So yes, that means they don't take reservations, but on the bright side, there's also a coffee bar outside, as well as an onsite market where you can purchase a handful of menu items on the go. Score! Before planning your pilgrimage to Waco, read on for your first look at the charming eatery.
