Fans of The Walking Dead Will Never Recover From Carl's Gut-Wrenching Death

Spoilers for The Walking Dead below!

The moment fans of The Walking Dead have been dreading for months finally arrived on Sunday night, and nobody's tear ducts were safe. In season eight's ninth episode, "Honor," that zombie bite Carl has been hiding finally takes its toll, killing off one of the only remaining characters from the AMC drama's original run. We watch Carl get to have a peaceful last day in Alexandria, writing letters to his closest friends and family members, spending quality time with Judith, and even planting a tree. His final moments are, of course, spent with Rick and Michonne.
