At the close of New York Fashion Week, as we predicted, "ugly" dad sneakers were one of the biggest trends seen on showgoers. With the weather fluctuating between snow, wind, and rain all week and the need to travel across town for each show, it makes sense that the fashion set made the sensible shoe the It item of the season. While many top designers including Balenciaga, Stella McCartney, and Acne have released their own versions of the clunky kicks, Louis Vuitton's Archlight sneaker was the clear favorite of the week, with models, editors, and influencers all spotted rocking the footwear between shows.
