The 1 Shampoo That Has Literally Ruined Me For All Others

I don't believe in a monogamous relationship between a woman and her shampoo. In fact, I'd classify myself as a serial shampoo dater. (And as a side note, if you don't have a half-full conditioner bottle to every empty shampoo bottle, then who even are you?!) But this is what they've always said, right? You have to mix up your shampoo and conditioner every now and then; otherwise your hair will get too complacent. It's like weight training . . . work your legs one day and your arms another. So I guess the theory is to work your volume one day and your shine the next? Regardless, this rationale never seemed to really work for me or my hair, so when I heard about Function of Beauty, you could say I got a bit excited.
The whole premise is simple yet amazing: customized hair care. In fact, the brand's entire ethos is about celebrating individuality. It believes (and I agree!) that your shampoo and conditioner should be as unique as you and your hair are. PREACH! So are you thinking, "HOW?! WHAT?! WHERE?!" It literally couldn't be easier to get your hands on this effective (yet highly Instagrammable) shampoo and conditioner. Just visit the Function of Beauty website to take a personalized hair quiz. There, you can check off all your hair concerns, pick a color to match your shower aesthetic, and even choose a yummy scent.
Since I've started using my personalized set, my hair has thanked me with numerous good hair days by keeping frizz to a minimum. Suddenly, air-drying was totally chill, and my color stayed brass-free for twice as long. Plus, like a true millennial, whenever I can get a refill of my favorite product sent to my door with minimal effort, it's a good thing.
