8 Unexpectedly Hilarious Jokes From Drew Barrymore and More Stars at the Golden Globes

The Golden Globes are known for being one of the most fun shows of award season, due in no small part to the fact that the stars get to drink all night long. This year, however, they didn't need any chardonnay to drop some choice one-liners during the annual telecast. Meryl Streep's entire acceptance speech was perhaps the night's most memorable moment, and between taking on serious topics like immigration and paying tribute to her late friend Carrie Fisher, she made some solid jokes. Of course, host Jimmy Fallon brought the house down with a fabulous opening number and monologue. If you missed the show, here are the best lines!

We're Sweet on Blake Lively's Cinnamon-Bun Chignon From the Golden Globes

Blake Lively's incredible hair - and its ability to look flawless in any style - has inspired us many times to get crafty with our own strands. At this year's Golden Globes, the star stepped out with another delicious mane masterpiece: a cinnamon-bun-esque chignon.

It's remarkably similar to the "croissant bun" that stylist James Pecis created for Lela Rose's Spring 2017 show. However, just like the pastry, it features some major twists.

Stylist Rod Ortega spritzed her hair with L'Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray ($15), then pulled her strands into a ponytail. The pony was teased, twisted, and artfully pinned to create this modern updo - that's it! The more you experiment as you twist, the more fun and fabulous the finished result will be. Read on to see Blake's look from every angle, then start practicing this look (it'd be perfect for a Valentine's Day date).

Nope, Kerry Washington Didn't Get Highlights - It's Just Some Cool Clip-Ins

Kerry Washington's hair and makeup were totally on point at the 2017 Golden Globes, and we have the inside scoop on all the products her glam squad used to make her red carpet ready. The Confirmation actress sported an elaborate Dolce & Gabbana dress that was truly a head-turner, so hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew opted for a simple, sleek look to balance things out. After using Neutrogena's Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask to condition Washington's strands, the hairstylist smoothed them out with a GHD Platinum flat iron. The finishing touch that made her look even more golden? She lightened up her hair with TSDHair blond and natural brown clip-ins.

As for her makeup choices, they were just as sexy as her dress. To achieve Washington's bold lip, makeup artist Carola Gonzalez layered Dolce & Gabbana Glam 355 lipstick with Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Deep Plum. So stunning! We might be trying that combo for our next night out on the town.

Only Janelle Monáe Could Wear Pearls in Her Hair and Get Away With It

Janelle Monáe is no stranger to rocking interesting hair accessories - remember that time she wore googly eyes in her hair and somehow managed to make it look chic? Well, the actress just debuted another addition to her collection at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards, and it might be our favorite one yet.

Monáe wore a stunning black-and-white ensemble at the show and polished off her look by placing dainty pearls in her classic updo. Though her makeup choices may look simple from afar, zooming in on her look reveals that she wore one simple swoop of silver eyeliner in the center of her lower lashes for two pearl-like accents. So cute!

It turns out, there's a hidden message behind the actress's recent quirky hair accessories, so we can't help but wonder - what was Monáe trying to say by opting for this rare gem hairstyle? Let us know what you think, and keep reading for a close-up look at her stunning Golden Globes look.

7 Jokes From Jimmy Fallon's Monologue That We'll Remember Until Next Year's Golden Globes

Jimmy Fallon proved to be the hostest with the mostest (yeah, I said it) during Sunday's Golden Globe Awards. His opening number was stupendous, and despite a teleprompter malfunction at the top of the show, Fallon swiftly regained his composure. He delivered a monologue that hit on politics, the many stars in the room, and, unfortunately for Ben Affleck, Batman v Superman. Once the show got on the road, he popped out for a few one-liners. Though we could have used more of him altogether, we did enjoy what little of him we got. Here are his best jokes throughout the show!

  • "This is the Golden Globes, one of the only places left where America honors the popular vote." - Addressing the election right off the bat.
  • "Don't Google 'Ryan Gosling Pianist,' trust me, it's an HR nightmare." - Admitting that he probably deletes his internet history daily.
  • "The show has so many plot twists, a lot of people are wondering what would have happened if King Joffrey lived. We'll find out in 12 days." - Comparing Game of Thrones to the election.
  • "We all know Matt Damon from his greatest acting role: telling Ben Affleck that he liked Batman v Superman." - Making sure he got a Batman v Superman jab in.
  • "I just got off the phone with Mariah Carey and she thinks Dick Clark Productions sabotaged my monologue." - Poking fun at Mariah Carey's New Year's Eve flub.
  • "If you put together the titles of the next two presenters' shows, you get Laugh In-Side Amy Schumer." - Introducing Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer.
  • "I'm sorry, I was just watching the blooper reel for Manchester by the Sea." - Joking about how depressing Manchester by the Sea is.

Don't Think For a Minute That Gael García Bernal Didn't Have Fun at the Golden Globes

Though he didn't win best actor in a TV musical or comedy for his role in Mozart in the Jungle, Gael García Bernal still had one heckuva night at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards.

From the car ride to the Beverly Hilton Hotel to the red carpet, the duo was practically inseparable. But don't think he forgot about his supertalented costars! Claire Foy's Globes Dress Made Us Think of "Josie Grossie", and Totally Made Our Night

Maybe it's because Drew Barrymore is out at the Globes, but when we saw Claire Foy take the stage, we instantly saw flashes of "Josie Grossie's" prom dress. Remember Drew's turn as the lovable Josie in Never Been Kissed? Yes, that Josie Grossie. The Earrings at the Golden Globes Are So Dramatic, You Barely Need to Zoom In

There wasn't a celebrity stylist who didn't consider statement earrings for the Golden Globes red carpet. It seemed like every star who showed up was flashing a pair of glitzy chandeliers. While the one-earring trend is perhaps lacking glamour as far as award ceremonies are concerned, Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie pulled off an asymmetrical look with peach pearl and diamond climbers. Then there was Kristen Bell, whose 115 carats of Harry Winston stones curved into next-level hoops. And Emily Ratajkowski's H. Stern star drops sparkled just as bright as her golden gown. Read on to see the earrings that won us over.

8 Unforgettable Jewelry Moments From the Golden Globe Awards

While there were many memorable red carpet gowns at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards, we can't forget about the accessories. This year, it seemed like necklaces, rings, and earrings became the focal point in many outfits. And some of the jewels, like Natalie Portman's 1910 jewels and Lily Collins's vintage pieces, had quite the history that made the details seem even more exquisite. On the other end of the spectrum, trendy items like Michelle Williams's choker made an unexpected appearance, proving chokers aren't out for 2017.

Ahead, we rounded up eight unforgettable jewelry moments. They deserve a second glance.

Tom Hiddleston Opens Up About Being the Best Person Ever During His Golden Globes Speech

Tom Hiddleston took home his first Golden Globe when he won best actor in a limited series on Sunday night. While there were sadly no jabs at his ex, Taylor Swift, he did take a moment to discuss his humanitarian work in South Sudan. During his speech, he talked about how he was approached by young doctors and nurses who recently binge watched his show, The Night Manager, during a recent shelling incident. Of course, the best moment had to be the hilarious reactions from the audience. Let's just say, Christian Slater's face is priceless.

Donald Glover's Shout-Out to His Son at the Globes Is Incredibly Moving

Donald Glover had one hell of a night while attending the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. After his hit show, Atlanta, took home the award for best comedy series, the actor also won the award for best actor in a musical or comedy series for his role on the show. Glover thanked his costars, calling them "beautiful people and my best friends," and also gave his son a sweet shout-out (he welcomed his first child in October). "I grew up in a house where magic wasn't allowed," he said. "So everybody in here is magical to me. Every time I saw a movie, I realized that magic is from people. We're the ones who kind of, in a weird way, lie to children so they do stuff they never thought was possible. I want to say thank you to my son and the mother of my son for making me believe in people again."

Santa Clarita Diet: Drew Barrymore's Netflix Show Looks Batsh*t, and We Are Here for It

In real life, cannibalism objectively isn't cool - don't do it. On Netflix, though? It's a riot. Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant are the stars of the new comedy Santa Clarita Diet, which follows Sheila (Barrymore) as she dies, is somehow revived, and develops a taste for human flesh. Netflix is smartly marketing it out like a real diet, complete with a commercial that reads like a parody of well-known diet programs. It's funny, gross, and we a re here for it. The show will be available on Feb 5; check out the trailer now!

The Secret Behind Sofia Vergara's Golden Globes Makeup Is Surprisingly Simple

When it comes to red carpet makeup, CoverGirl brand ambassador Sofia Vergara embraces every bit of glam, and let it be known that the 2017 Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel were no different.

The ageless 44-year-old Modern Family actress, who presented at the star-studded event, let her show-stopping embroidered Zuhair Murad couture dress shine by pairing it with a subtle-yet-glowing beauty look. The best part? It's super easy to re-create - and features only drugstore products.

Here's how to achieve it: once you've applied your favorite foundation and blush, start working on the eyes, which, according to Sofia's makeup artist, Kayleen McAdams, is the focal point of the look. She used the CoverGirl TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette ($12) in Nude to achieve a natural smokey look on Sofia, swiping a bit of color both on her lids and lower lashline. However, she says, "the main staple of Sofia's red carpet look is always lots and lots of [So Lashy! Blast Pro Mascara ($12) in Extreme Black]," so that's where you'll really want to amp it up. Add multiple coats!

Then, as with any Sofia look, fill in your brows (Desi Perkins's "bushy brows" tutorial is perfect for this) and add a pop of color to your lips. Here, Kaylee opted for a subtle wash of Queen Collection Soft Matte Lip ($7) in Mauvejestic to ensure that her eyes were the center of attention. Keep scrolling to study even more pictures of Sofia's Golden Globes makeup before you try it out yourself!

Gina Rodriguez Didn't Win a Golden Globe, but That Didn't Stop Her From Having a Great Night

Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez might have not taken the award for best actress, TV musical or comedy at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 8, but that didn't mean Gina was lamenting her loss all night.

The actress, who brought her sister Rebecca to the award show, had fun getting ready, wore a gorgeous dress that sparkled on the red carpet, and snapped a few photos with other celebrities, including John Legend and Chrissy Teigen - so we're going to say it was a pretty good time either way. Scroll ahead to check out her best moments.

Brad Pitt Pulls a Golden Globes Sneak Attack, and We Couldn't Have Been More Excited to See Him

The Golden Globes was flooded with some of Hollywood's biggest stars on Sunday night, but one celebrity we weren't expecting to see was Brad Pitt. During the show, the actor popped up on stage to introduce a clip from Moonlight, which he produced. The surprise appearance comes on the heels of his recent split from Angelina Jolie. Since she filed for divorce, the actor has been keeping a very low profile, only attending a few events for his film, Allied, in November. Let's just say, we've definitely missed seeing his gorgeous face.

Courtney B. Vance: The O.J. Case Is a "Train Wreck" We Can't Resist

It's no secret that American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson has been sweeping its way through every award show. What makes the show so compelling? Courtney B. Vance explains why it's about more than just stellar performances.

Viola Davis Should Get Another Golden Globe For Her Meryl Streep Introduction

During Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards, Meryl Streep was bestowed with a staggering honor (with a staggering speech, no less). Viola Davis took the stage to present the iconic actress with this year's prestigious Cecil B. Demille Award, and gave a truly exceptional tribute like only Viola Davis could give. Davis, who had already become a winner for her moving performance in Fences, gave personal anecdotes and even explained how Streep's career inspired her as an artist. Watch the glowing clip above.

Meryl Streep Has Jaws on the Damn Floor After Her Impassioned Golden Globes Speech

After being immortalized with a beautiful, admiring introduction from Doubt costar Viola Davis, Meryl Streep was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes on Sunday. The iconic actress, who is no stranger to big wins, took her acceptance speech as an opportunity to highlight the overwhelming importance of diversity not only in Hollywood, but in America in general. "Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners, and if you kick us all out, you'll have nothing to watch except for football and mixed martial arts, which are not arts," she tearfully said, after reading off a memorized list of fellow Globes nominees who hail from all over the country, and all over the world.

Then, Meryl called out president-elect Donald Trump, who made headlines when he mocked a disabled reporter at a rally earlier last year. "There was nothing good about it, but it did its job," she said of the incident. "It kind of broke my heart when I saw it, and I still can't get it out my head because it wasn't in a movie, it was in real life. That instinct to humiliate when it's modeled by someone in a public platform, it filters down into everyone's life because it gives permission for others to do the same." She finished off her lengthy, impassioned speech with a sentiment that we'd all do well to remember over the next four years. "Disrespect invites disrespect, violence incites violence," she said, before quoting late friend Carrie Fisher. "Take your broken heart, make it into art."

What You Should Know About the Disturbing Allegations of Sexual Harassment Against Casey Affleck

Image Source: Getty / Laura Cavanaugh

Casey Affleck is currently riding high on the Golden Globe win for his latest film, Manchester by the Sea, but his skyrocketing career isn't the only part of the 41-year-old's life that's been pulled into the spotlight. Amid all of the rave reviews for his dark, emotional performance, serious allegations of sexual harassment made against him by two women in 2010 have come back to haunt him.

In October 2016, Variety ran a cover story on Affleck, and squeezed in between stories about his childhood and glowing praise for his acting abilities was a brief blip about the lawsuits, which were brought against him by the female producer and the cinematographer of his 2010 mockumentary I'm Still Here. "People say whatever they want," he told Variety when asked about the charges, which were later settled out of court. "Sometimes it doesn't matter how you respond . . . I guess people think if you're well-known, it's perfectly fine to say anything you want. I don't know why that is. But it shouldn't be, because everybody has families and lives." Despite his family-centric brushoff of the claims, what allegedly happened between him and the women working on the set of his film deserves far more than a blip.

Affleck and other male crew members allegedly almost immediately made comments about having sex with her and suggested she have sex with the film's camera assistant.
The harassment occurred multiple times on the set of the ill-received mockumentary Affleck made with his then-brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix, according to the film's producer Amanda White and its cinematographer Magdalena Gorka. In December 2008, White signed on to be a producer of the doc after having worked with Affleck a few times in the past. In her formal complaint (which you can read in full here), she claimed that the younger Affleck brother repeatedly called women "cows" on set, obnoxiously discussed his sexual encounters, and at one point ordered a crew member to flash his penis at her despite her objections. She also made note of an incident where Affleck asked "Isn't it about time you get pregnant?" after hearing how old she was and made comments about how she should have sex with one of the male crew members so she could have a baby.

On top of White's accusations about his lewd behavior, she claimed that Affleck physically threatened her more than once. She said that after rebuffing his request to share a hotel room with him one night, he grabbed her in "a hostile manner" to try to manipulate her into submitting to his demands. She alleged that when she still said no, he called her a variety of "profane names" via text message. White further alleged that while shooting the documentary in Costa Rica one night, she wasn't able to return to her bedroom because Affleck and Phoenix - the brother of Affleck's wife, Summer, whom he split from after 10 years of marriage in March 2016 - had locked the door so they could have sex with two women they'd invited inside. On July 23, 2010, White filed a $2 million lawsuit against the actor in Los Angeles Superior Court.

While still working as a producer, White was instructed to renegotiate a contract with Magdalena, the film's director of photography, who'd left production early on because of her own alleged negative experiences with Affleck. Gorka described her time working with him in her formal complaint (which you can read in full here) as "the most traumatizing of her career" due to "routine instances of sexual harassment." When she first started working, Affleck and other male crew members allegedly almost immediately made comments about having sex with her and suggested she have sex with the film's camera assistant (Affleck's close friend). Gorka hoped that things would get better as production wore on, but she alleged that Affleck's behavior only escalated.

Image Source: Getty / Kevin Winter

In mid-December 2008, she traveled to NYC with other crew members to shoot scenes involving Joaquin. Instead of putting the crew up in a hotel, Affleck and Phoenix decided to have them stay overnight in their apartment. Gorka claimed that Phoenix told her she could take his bedroom while he slept in the living room, only for her to wake up in the middle of the night and discover Affleck was lying in bed with her. In her complaint, she described him as "curled up next to her in the bed wearing only his underwear and a T-shirt. He had his arm around her, was caressing her back, his face was within inches of hers and his breath reeked of alcohol." Feeling "shocked and repulsed" since she wasn't sure of how long he'd been there or if he'd touched her while she slept, she said she told him to get out. He allegedly asked her why he had to leave, to which she replied, "Because you are married and you are my boss." She said he "left and slammed the door in anger." The next morning, Gorka flew back to LA, told her agent what allegedly happened, and quit I'm Still Here.

After going a few weeks without work, White convinced Gorka to continue working on the film, which she agreed to in hopes that the presence of both women on set would deter further harassment. Unfortunately, Gorka alleges that she was once again subjected to "a nearly daily barrage of sexual comments, innuendo, and unwelcome advances by crew members, within the presence and with the active encouragement of Affleck." She resigned once again, which she said resulted in Affleck refusing to give her the "director of photography" credit on the film as retaliation. One week after White filed her lawsuit in 2010, Gorka filed a $2.25 million suit of her own against Affleck in LA Superior Court, citing the "humiliation, embarrassment, and emotional distress as a direct result of the harassment and abuse she endured during production." White also claimed she was denied the payment of her producer's fee ($50,000) after complaining about Affleck's behavior and that she had yet to be paid at all for the three months she worked on the film at the time she filed her official complaint. Affleck initially denied the allegations and briefly threatened to countersue but eventually settled both suits out of court through mediation.

The Golden Globe Awards aired on Sunday, kicking off a long line of award season appearances from the actor thanks to the multiple award shows that will take place in January and February. Unlike Nate Parker and Bill Cosby before him (both of whose alleged crimes are different and more serious, it's important to note), Affleck has been raking in accolade after accolade rather than career-ending blows to his reputation. Much like a former reality star who was elected into the highest office our country has to offer after bragging about his preferred methods of sexual assault and a high-profile actor involved in a domestic violence dispute, it doesn't look like Affleck is going to be tried in the court of public opinion for his alleged actions. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Over the next few months, it's pretty clear that Hollywood will likely not only stand by him, but also celebrate him.

You May Have Missed Meryl Streep's Brief But Beautiful Tribute to Friend Carrie Fisher

Meryl Streep accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes on Sunday, skewering Donald Trump in the process - but that wasn't the only memorable part of her speech. She concluded it with a quote: "As my friend, the dear departed Princess Leia said to me once, 'Take your broken heart, make it into art.'" She is, of course, referring to the late Carrie Fisher, who passed away in December.

Aside from both being box office queens throughout the '70s and '80s, Streep and Fisher have something else in common. Streep starred in the 1990 film Postcards, which was adapted from a semi-autobiographical novel that Fisher wrote. In it, Streep played Suzanne Vale, an actress with a substance abuse who moves in with her mother. Fisher's battle with substance abuse is well-documented in her bestseller, Wishful Drinking.

The show also paid tribute to Fisher and her mother, Debbie Reynolds, with a touching tribute compilation.

Michael Keaton Makes a Huge Flub at the Golden Globes and People Are NOT Happy

Michael Keaton made a huge mistake during the Golden Globes on Sunday night and people are already voicing their opinions about it on social media. When announcing the nominees for best supporting actress he accidentally referred to Hidden Figures as Hidden Fences combing the title of the former film and Fences. Sadly, this wasn't the only time this happened during the night. Earlier in the evening on the red carpet, NBC News correspondent Jenna Bush asked Pharrell Williams about his nomination for Hidden Fences, when he's actually nominated for Hidden Figures. Yikes. See the best reactions to Michael's flub below.

Emma Stone Getting Caught in an Awkward 3-Way Hug at the Globes Is Weird and Amazing

Emma Stone attended the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills on Sunday night, but aside from the glamorous moments, she also had a majorly awkward one, too. Ryan Gosling gave him a nice side hug, but when the actress went in to give one too, Damien was in the middle of kissing and hugging his girlfriend, Olivia Hamilton. Just further proof that Emma is our spirit animal.

Ryan Gosling Dedicates His Golden Globe to "Sweetheart" Eva Mendes and Her Late Brother

Ryan Gosling dropped jaws when he attended the Golden Globes in LA on Sunday. Not only did he look handsome as hell in a white tux, but his charm was almost too much handle. After snagging the award for best actor in a musical or comedy for his role in La La Land, Ryan took the stage and gave what might have been the best speech of the night. In addition to thanking his costars, Ryan gave his partner, Eva Mendes, the sweetest shout-out, saying, "I would like to thank one person properly. While I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I've ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second, and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer. If she hadn't have taken all that on so that I could have this experience, it would surely be someone else up here other than me, so sweetheart, thank you."

He also mentioned his kids, adding, "To my daughters, Amada and Esmeralda, I love you." But, perhaps, the most touching part of his speech was when he dedicated his award to Eva's brother who passed away from cancer in April 2016, saying, "And if I may, I'd like to dedicate this to the memory of her brother, Juan Carlo Mendez." Cue the tears!

Sofia Vergara's Accent Was the Butt of a Joke, and the Internet Is Not Having It

At the 2017 Golden Globes, Sofia Vergara - like every other presenter - read a scripted introduction for her category's nominees. Unfortunately, unlike every other presenter, the jokes in Sofia's bit were cheap shots at her thick Colombian accent. Deliberately fudging the word "annual" to result in "anal," Sofia was stuck playing into the same tired joke that has followed her throughout her English-language film career: that she's "not from here" and she sounds different.

As a wildly successful actress who has won several industry awards and been nominated for countless more, Sofia Vergara deserves so much more than jokes about her accent. Award shows continue to play into this lampooning of Latina women, and it's disappointing that Sofia herself feels the need to participate in order to be a good sport. Fortunately, while many viewers believed that the actress's mistake wasn't intentional, it seems that much of the Golden Globes audience is fed up with the accent schtick.

We were hoping to leave this tired attempt at humor in 2016, so here's hoping that it'll actually kick the bucket this year.

Golden Globes: We Can't Stop Laughing at Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig's Presenting Bit

Kristen Wiig and Steve Carell were chosen to present one of the most innocent Golden Globe Awards, but things quickly took a dark turn. Before announcing which animated film would join this year's list of winners, each presenter took a turn remembering the first animated film they had ever seen . . . and the horrifying childhood experience that accompanied it. We'll hold off on spoiling the punchlines, because Wiig and Carell's delivery is far better than anything we could write here.

Diego Luna Was Just So Damn Adorable Speaking Spanish at the Golden Globes

We're a puddle after hearing Rogue One's Diego Luna speak Spanish while he presented the award for best screenplay - motion picture at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards. It was just so refreshing to see the Mexican actor, who arrived on the red carpet with best friend Gael García Bernal (nominated for the second time for his role on Mozart in the Jungle), infuse his presenter script with his sparkly personality and native language.

As he stepped on stage, the crowd wasn't ready post-commercial break, still chatting it up and walking around the theater, so what did Diego do? He said "Silencio, por favor," to get everyone back on track then politely greeted them with a "Buenas noches a todos." The whole thing was so damn cute, but it didn't end there.

After presenting the nominees, Diego decided to announce the winner in Spanish, too, saying: "Y el Globo de Oro es para . . . You got that, right?" After highlighting the importance of Latino representation in Hollywood by tweeting a sweet story shared by a Star Wars fan, Diego just keeps making us proud. See the video below, then remember that time he brought his ex-wife to the premiere of Rogue One.

Kristen Bell Shows Her Makeup-Free Face Before the Golden Globe Awards

During award season, it can seem like celebrities show up ready for the red carpet effortlessly. Kristen Bell isn't afraid to reveal how much goes into her glamorous looks and shared her humorous routine on Instagram. The hysterical actress posted a photo of herself before her team of beauty experts worked their magic.

In this endearing photo, Kristen stands in a doorway, open suitcase in front of her, sans makeup, and with her hair falling in various directions. She joked that she "woke up like this" in the caption with a smirk on her face.

In another photo, Kristen shared an image of three separate experts working on her at once, proof that celebrities have an entire team devoted to making them look stunning.

Obviously Kristen's glam team did a great job; her loose waves paired gorgeously with her smoky eye makeup and peach lip. We can't get enough of Kristen's beauty as well as her candid honesty and humor.

Priyanka Chopra Brought Grunge Lips to the Golden Globes Red Carpet

Priyanka Chopra rocked a dark lip at the 2017 Golden Globes, and it's a hit with her fans! (For the record, we are included in that group.)

The Pantene ambassador and Quantico star walked the red carpet wearing subtly champagne eye shadow to match her gold dress. Even though her gown was a statement, it was her vampy lip that caught our eye. Priyanka played up her pout with a super-'90s brown color with a hint of cranberry. It looked gorgeous against her skin tone. We also need to give a shout-out to her slightly feathered yet bold eyebrows.

Priyanka's makeup was done by celebrity makeup artist Stephanie Brooke Barnes for Laura Mercier, and we got the scoop on her exact lipstick. To create a custom color for Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lip Colour ($28) in An Affair and Seduction.

When it came to hair, Priyanka styled her thick, glossy mane into loose boho waves. A center part worked well with her plunging neckline.

Sarah Jessica Parker's Hairstyle Honors a Very Important Person Who Just Passed Away

While celebrities are known to start beauty trends on the red carpet, sometimes the best choices prevail when they look to the past for inspiration. Sarah Jessica Parker tried a throwback hairstyle for the 2017 Golden Globes. She wore crown braids with jewels accessorizing her part. The style was initially created as a nod to her mother's wedding hair, but she later realized it also draws inspiration from Princess Leia (played by the late Carrie Fisher).

On the NBC red carpet special, host Natalie Morales told Sarah Jessica, "It almost looks Princess Leia inspired!"

The actress responded, "I didn't mean for that, perhaps it was in my subconscious. Actually there's a photograph of my mother getting married, and her hair is like this, so I mentioned it in conversation with Serge Normant, who does my hair. And though we didn't think we were going to do this, this ended up being what we did! So perhaps it's a tiny little nod at a very grand person."

That indeed! With fans everywhere mourning Carrie's recent death, we could not think of a better time to honor her most well-known role.

For makeup, SJP kept it classic with smudgy dark eyeliner and a pale matte pink lip color.

Emily Ratajkowski Looks Even Hotter With an Edgy, Short Haircut

Emily Ratajkowski has never looked hotter than with her textured bob walking the red carpet at the Golden Globes. The actress debuted her shorter locks with slightly lighter brown ends at the award show, and her soft waves were breathtakingly beautiful.

She paired her shoulder-grazing mane with long dangling earrings, gold eye shadow in the inner corners of her eyes, and a brown smoky shadow in her crease.

This look totally worked on the star, and we hope she keeps this shorter hair for a while.

The Viral Skin Care Mask Emma Stone Used to Get Ready For the Golden Globes

Just before hitting the 2017 Golden Globes red carpet, Emma Stone pampered herself with one of the latest trends to emerge from the Korean skin care industry: the lip mask. Emma's makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin, shared the quirky picture of her client with a lip mask on. Her caption read, "Some say beauty is pain, others say it [sic] just ridiculous!"

While lip masks might look "ridiculous," as Rachel noted, they have proven to be hugely popular as of late. Just last year, Kim Kardashian shared a picture of herself wearing a lip mask with her Snapchat followers. Lip masks do vary by brand, but they are typically used to hydrate and slightly plump lips more than a regular lip product would.

If you're interested in trying the Instagram-worthy trend at home, one popular brand to consider is KNC Beauty, where a pack of five masks is priced at $25. Patchology has a 24-pack of its lip gels for $50. For a more affordable option, try Sephora's mask, priced at $3.

The Golden Globes Paid Tribute to Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds in the Sweetest Way

Hollywood (and the rest of the world) is still reeling from the sudden, tragic loss of Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher, who passed away within days of each other in late December. With movie and television's biggest and brightest stars gathered at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night, the award show paid tribute to the unstoppable mother-daughter duo in the perfect way. After an introduction from host Jimmy Fallon, a sweet video chronicling their most iconic film roles was shown while Debbie's song "You Made Me Love You" played in the background. It was the perfect way to honor the film legends, whose bond was incredibly strong until the very end.

Following Jenna Bush, Michael Keaton Has His Own "Hidden Fences" Flub at the Golden Globes

Apparently Jenna Bush wasn't the only person at the 2017 Golden Globes who got the scientific biopic Hidden Figures, starring Taraji P. Henson and Octavia Spencer, mixed up with another recent film, Fences, starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis. While presenting the award for best supporting actress in a motion picture at the 74th ceremony, Keaton mistakenly called out Octavia Spencer for her work in "Hidden Fences". The gaff was instantly picked up by commentators on social media who noticed that it seemed to be a recurring mistake throughout the night. Watch the awkward moment as it unfolded in the video above.

Despite Not Nabbing an Award, Mandy Moore Managed to Have a Great Night at the Golden Globes

Making her first appearance at the Golden Globe Awards since 2011, Mandy Moore could not contain her excitement before the show on Sunday night - and we were right there cheering her on. The beautiful This Is Us actress won us over as Rebecca on the new NBC show, and even though she didn't take home the award for best performance by an actress in a supporting role, Mandy still had a fun night. Before she arrived at the red carpet and had heads turning with her stunning Naeem Khan gown, she took to Instagram to show fans how she got ready for the big show (because there's no better way to assuage your pre-show jitters than documenting it on social media). With her hair, nail, and makeup teams on deck, Mandy was ready to strut down the carpet like the star she is.

You Might Melt Over This Adorable BFF Moment Between Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams

Not only do Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams play sisters on Game of Thrones, but they also act like them in real life. The adorable BFFs, who recently revealed their matching tattoos, hit the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night where they had a particularly cute moment together. While posing for photographers along with the rest of their costars, Sophie bent down to help fix Maisie's stunning dress. What are sisters for, right? Now if only the Stark siblings could reunite on screen . . .

Ryan Gosling Just Gave the Most Touching Acceptance Speech of the 2017 Golden Globes

Remember how you were, like, totally over Ryan Gosling for a while? Well, you're back into him. Not only did he win our hearts in La La Land, he's starting to win all the awards for it too. Gosling won the Golden Globe on Sunday night and proceeded to give a beautifully touching speech about his gratitude for costar Emma Stone, director Damien Chazelle, and, most of all, wife Eva Mendes. He spoke about how while he was singing and dancing on a set, she was taking on quite a bit at home. "My lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second, and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer," he said. "If she hadn't had taken all that on so that I could have this experience, there would surely be someone else up here other than me today." Gosling also dedicated the award to Mendes's late brother, Juan Carlo Mendez.

This Look Replaced the Naked Dress at the Golden Globes, But Skin Was Still In

Every year there's one sexy trend that seems to take the Golden Globes by storm. Last year it was the naked dress, and this year it's plunging necklines. Stars like Sarah Jessica Parker and Emma Stone chose the skin-bearing style for a sultry yet sophisticated look. Pregnant Gal Gadot also dressed her bump in a low-cut number and looked absolutely stunning. Keep scrolling to check out all the celebs who weren't afraid to take the plunge on the red carpet.

Blake Lively's Golden Globes Dress Had Us Asking 1 Question: Are Those Actually Pockets?

For the 2017 Golden Globe Awards, Blake Lively didn't just wear any plain ol' LBD, she wore a black Atelier Versace gown with gold sequined detailing and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. As she walked down the red carpet with Ryan Reynolds, we took particular notice of how she always had her hands on her hips.

Perhaps it was her "comfortable" pose for the night, but we have a feeling the real reason was to draw attention to the sparkly pocket-like designs on her dress and those megawatt jewels on her wrist. Because she didn't stick her hands inside them, it made us wonder: are those even real pockets? If so, that would be a game changer. Scroll on to see Blake's poses and dress for yourself.
