The Secret Behind Sofia Vergara's Golden Globes Makeup Is Surprisingly Simple
When it comes to red carpet makeup, CoverGirl brand ambassador Sofia Vergara embraces every bit of glam, and let it be known that the 2017 Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel were no different.
The ageless 44-year-old Modern Family actress, who presented at the star-studded event, let her show-stopping embroidered Zuhair Murad couture dress shine by pairing it with a subtle-yet-glowing beauty look. The best part? It's super easy to re-create - and features only drugstore products.
Here's how to achieve it: once you've applied your favorite foundation and blush, start working on the eyes, which, according to Sofia's makeup artist, Kayleen McAdams, is the focal point of the look. She used the CoverGirl TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette ($12) in Nude to achieve a natural smokey look on Sofia, swiping a bit of color both on her lids and lower lashline. However, she says, "the main staple of Sofia's red carpet look is always lots and lots of [So Lashy! Blast Pro Mascara ($12) in Extreme Black]," so that's where you'll really want to amp it up. Add multiple coats!
