La La Land continued to dominate at the 2017 Golden Globes with Emma Stone taking home the trophy for best performance by an actress in a motion picture, musical or comedy. The 28-year-old actress tearfully accepted her award and thanked her family for supporting her dream to become an actress. "Thank you, Mom, for everything!" she said. "I moved here 13 years ago this week, and without my mom and my dad and my brother who has put up with me his whole life - thank you, Spence, you're the best!"
