Emma Watson and Her Harry Potter Costars Have a Group Chat and OMG

Emma Watson is currently busy promoting Beauty and the Beast, but she certainly hasn't forgotten about her Harry Potter costars. In fact, they're as close as ever. During a recent interview with ET, Emma was asked whether she and Daniel Radcliffe still keep in touch, to which she replied, "Gosh, we actually have a group WhatsApp, which I invited everyone from the main cast of Harry Potter to come to the screenings. . . . It's like Pokémon; I'm trying to catch them all right now." And she wasn't lying. On Thursday, Emma had the support of her former Hogwarts classmates Matthew Lewis (Neville) and Tom Felton (Draco) at the LA premiere of her new movie. We're hoping they all reunite again soon!

4 Theories About The Vampire Diaries Finale That Will Either Make You or Destroy You

This post has been updated with new information.

The Vampire Diaries finale is almost here, and we're getting even more anxious about how the series will come to a close. Even though we can finally rest assured that Nina Dobrev will be back, there are still a lot of lingering questions out in the open. Does Bonnie die? Will Elena and Damon finally get their happy end? And what kind of hell will Katherine raise this time? Now that we're down to the final episode, fans have been going crazy on social media posting theories about the finale. If you can't stand the wait or you just don't mind knowing the ending, keep reading for the most compelling theories below.

Elena Wakes Up From the Sleeping Curse

Even though Kai didn't undo the sleeping curse during his three-episode arc, the teasers for the finale do show Elena reuniting with Damon. Does this mean Bonnie finally found a way around the spell now that she has her magic back? Or worse, did Bonnie really die from the Maxwell bell?

Stefan and Elena End Up Together

If you're a Stelena fan, then you better hold onto your seat. After Kevin Williamson posted a picture of Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley on set, some fans are left wondering if there will actually be a Stefan and Elena reunion in the finale. It would definitely explain why the episode is titled "I Was Feeling Epic," after Lexi's famous line to Stefan about Elena.

Stefan Dies

Now that Stefan is human, he is the prime suspect for the main character death in the finale. Not only did Paul Wesley admit to tearing up over his final script, but he also revealed that his final scene is with Dobrev. What if the finale teaser is actually Stefan saying his last goodbye? It would be pretty "epic" to have the series end with the one who started it all.

Caroline and Klaus End Up Together

It's also possible that Caroline will end up with the reformed villain, Klaus. Not only did Plec tease a crossover between The Originals and The Vampire Diaries in the finale, but she also confirmed that Klaroline will have a little interaction as well. Matt Davis, who plays Alaric, is making an appearance on the spinoff next season. Perhaps the two will take the twins to New Orleans after Stefan dies.

This Is Us: How William's Death Is About to Affect Beth

As This Is Us approaches its season one finale, we are growing more and more anxious about whether or not Jack will die, but there is one death from which we're still recovering. William's exit was certainly one of the most heartbreaking moments on the show - even the cast couldn't contain their tears - and it seems like that sadness will only continue. POPSUGAR recently had a chance to talk with Susan Kelechi Watson during the NBC Press Day, and she gave us a little bit of insight about the show's upcoming episodes. While William's death will no doubt affect Randall, it will also have an "emotional impact" on her character, Beth. "It has a big affect on Beth," she said. "They went from being these strangers, to getting to know each other, then kind of being family, then him being a father figure and a friend, and then she loses him."

While there is a lot of speculation about the season one finale, we're also eager to know more about season two. Even though Watson wouldn't reveal the specifics, she did say the writers are taking their time perfecting the upcoming storylines. "We [the actors] have an opportunity to talk about that as we go into it," she said. "I get to discuss with them about what they're thinking and what I'm thinking." As far as what she hopes gets tackled next season, she would love to see more of Beth's backstory, including where she is from and who her family is. We couldn't agree more - we want to meet Randall's in-laws!

8 Women-Founded Beauty Brands That You Should Have Tried by Now

If you're both a beauty-lover and a feminist, you've probably experienced makeup shaming in spades. "You can't be a feminist and be obsessed with how you look!" say some. "Makeup is inherently antifeminist!" spout off others. We say that's total bullsh*t. Feminism is about freedom and self-empowerment, and if you feel empowered rocking beach waves and a fierce red lip, then do you.

In honor of International Women's Day, we rounded up eight badass women who started their own beauty lines. One sold her engagement ring, while others quit their high-power finance jobs in the name of following their dreams. After all, in our minds, few things are as empowering as seeing your name on a product on Sephora shelves. Read on to learn more about these incredible women and discover their brands.

YouTuber Eva Gutowski on How She Avoided Getting Bullied in High School

Eva Gutowski discusses her life on YouTube for a living, and with the release of her new book, My Life as Eva: The Struggle Is Real, she offers advice to her fans on how to overcome issues like bullying. As a freshman, Eva almost got jumped in high school but avoided doing so. She looks back at the experience with a laugh now, but at the time, it was frightening.

"Someone comes up to me and was like, 'Are you Eva?' And I'm like, 'Hi, yeah!' And they're like, 'Oh, uh, Candy wants to beat you up.' Apparently somebody had confused me with somebody else and had started a rumor, and that's how I got into the mix," Eva said. "This senior girl wanted to jump me after school. I didn't know her!" She ended up talking to "Candy" and sorted it out. "I was brave enough to talk to her and was like, 'I don't know who you are, I'm sure you're a great person, like, this is what's going on,' and we actually ended up fixing everything."

By confronting the situation, she was able to defuse a potentially destructive outcome. That's why she encourages people to take a step back and think before saying something about another person. "Bullying's a train. If one person bullies you, then you want to bully another person, then the other person wants to bully another person, and then it just keeps going to where a whole community of people are terrible people!" Eva said. "And the train is going to come to you and you have an option to keep the train going, and keep spinning negativity in the world, or you can stop the train dead in its tracks and suddenly everyone behind you has to get off."

Check out the full interview with Eva on this week's episode of Pretty Unfiltered, and be sure to catch her on Me and My Grandma on YouTube Red this year.

Holy Throwback! Juicy Couture's Beauty and the Beast Collection Is a 2-in-1 Blast From the Past

It's official: whether we like it or not, Juicy Couture's infamous tracksuits have risen from the ashes of our past, reminding us of middle and high school days spent lounging in the velvety separates. Hot on the heels of Juicy's funky collaboration with Urban Outfitters, the designers behind the iconic '90s must haves released a capsule collection inspired by one of our favorite magical Disney movies, Beauty and the Beast.

The limited-edition collection features two velour jackets - one yellow and one navy blue - embellished with thousands of Swarovski crystals in designs that nod to the enchanting fairy tale. This makes for a pretty hefty price tag, as any Disney diehards will have to cough up $598 for the bright yellow option and $698 for the navy blue number.

Though they may not be the most fashion-forward loungewear we've seen, we can't deny they're sending our childhood nostalgia through the roof. Beauty and the Beast plus Juicy tracksuits?! It's simply too much to handle. Read on to take a peek at the cozy, crystal-adorned jackets, and prepare for a two-in-one blast from the past.

What This Garbage Man Said to a Little Girl on His Route Will Leave You in a Puddle of Mush

A little girl named Brooklyn had a very surprising request for her birthday - she wanted to finally meet a man she's been admiring from afar: her family's garbage collector, Delvar. Or as they've taken to calling him, "our favorite awesome smiley garbage man."

Each Thursday for over a year, Brooklyn, who lives in Bloomington, IL, would anxiously awaited the garbage truck's arrival at their house.

In a Facebook post, Brooklyn's mom wrote:

It started with waving from the window, then we had to try and be outside to wave, and when we missed the truck driving by the house, I'd drive around the neighborhood to find the garbage truck and wave on our way out the door in the mornings. Every Thursday, my heart is full when I see the joy that our amazing garbage man brings Brooklyn when he honks and waves at her with a BIG smile.

To make Brooklyn's birthday - which, as luck would have it, was on a Thursday - extra special, they decided it was time they finally met their garbage collector. Brooklyn wrapped up a cupcake and waited for his arrival. When he rounded the corner of their street, Brooklyn's mom thanked him for his upbeat demeanor and acknowledged how much it meant to her daughter.

To her surprise, Delvar admitted that he, too, looks forward to their weekly visits. What he revealed next will leave you in a puddle of mush . . .

He said that he has a meeting every Thursday morning and always tries to get out of there in a hurry so that he can make sure to see us every week.

We're so glad Brooklyn got her birthday wish, and when Thursday rolls around again, we can't help but get excited about her run-in, full of honking and waving, with her "favorite awesome smiley garbage man."

Emma Watson Tweets Clarification For People Saying She Shamed Beyoncé's Feminism

Emma Watson's recent photo shoot for Vanity Fair included an image of her posing topless except for a see-through jacket resting on her shoulders, and it wasn't long before internet trolls and tabloids alike criticized her underboob. According to them, you can't show off your body and be a feminist, which the outspoken activist and actress quickly shut down in a subsequent interview with Reuters. "Feminism is about giving women choice," she said, clearly frustrated. "Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women. It's about freedom, it's about liberation, it's about equality."

Her plea, though impassioned, also received criticism, but this time from Beyoncé fans who accused her of hypocrisy. See, back in 2014, the Beauty and the Beast actress interviewed Tavi Gevinson for Wonderland, and their conversation included a critique from Emma about the music videos Beyoncé released along with her self-titled album. She said, "As I was watching [the videos] I felt very conflicted. I felt her message felt very conflicted in the sense that on the one hand she is putting herself in a category of a feminist, but then the camera, it felt very male, such a male voyeuristic experience of her."

In what can only be assumed to be a direct response to the Beyhive's outrage, Emma addressed the controversy on Twitter on Tuesday. "This is the part of my 2014 interview with Tavi where we talked about Beyoncé. My words are in bold," she told her followers, attaching screenshots of her entire conversation with Tavi rather than the one snippet the internet had been circulating.

Though it's clear she still felt "conflicted" about Beyoncé's videos, there's somewhat of an explanation for her thoughts in the second part of her bolded text:

"[Beyoncé] does make it clear that she is performing for him. And the fact she wasn't doing it for a label, she was doing it for herself and the control that she has directing it and putting it out there, I agree is making her sexuality empowering because it is her choice.

The second is that I would say you do get sense of, 'I can be a feminist, I can be an intellectual, I can be all these other things, but I can also be OK with my femininity and being pretty and with all these things that I thought might negate my message or negate what I am about.' That really is the most interesting thing about the album. It is so inclusive and puts feminism and femininity and female empowerment on such a broad spectrum."

Ultimately Emma agreed that Beyoncé's choice to deliberately make her videos sexy fell under the wide and varied spectrum of feminism.

"I love my wife a lot." Joe also talked about how their relationship began, saying, "I was on a press tour when I found out Sofia was single [after splitting from Nick Loeb]. My friend is an editor, and told me she was about to make the announcement. I got her number from Jesse Tyler Ferguson [Sofia's Modern Family costar], then flew to New Orleans to take her on a date." Talk about a real-life Prince Charming!

Why Auli'i Cravalho Is Actually Thankful For That Head Bonk at the Oscars

Image Source: Getty / Frazer Harrison

Auli'i Cravalho may only be 16 years old, but her dreams are already coming true. The young actress was cast in Disney's Moana when she was just 14, and in the time since, she's traveled the world, performed at the Oscars, and even snagged a role in an upcoming TV pilot. It's clear the young star is a pro, even when she gets hit in the head midperformance. Just in time for Moana's DVD and Blu-ray release, we sat down with Auli'i to talk about everything from that Oscars head bonk to the crazy ways her life has changed in just two years.

POPSUGAR: So I wanted to talk about the Oscars. I mean, I know you already addressed your head-hitting incident, but what was it like for you as a whole?

Auli'i Cravalho: It was such an amazing experience. I never in my wildest dreams imagined that I would be performing at the Oscars when I was 16 years old, but it happened! Backstage it was honestly . . . there were so many busy worker bees back there, so I wasn't allowed backstage very much. But in my dressing room we were turning up to Bach, because I was so nervous that I needed some calming music.

Oh, and speaking of that little head tap the night of the Oscars, funny story: that actually happened in the dress rehearsal the day before.

PS: Oh, no way.

AC: Yeah way. So we all got together after, and I was like, "OK, I don't wanna be that person that ruins the vibe, but I did get tapped on the head a little bit." And they were like, "What? No way!" And then we all kind of laughed about it, and I was like, "All right, just make sure it doesn't happen tomorrow." And then it happened the next day.

PS: What was going through your head when it happened during the show?!

AC: I was like, "Dude, not again. Double whammy, like two nights in a row." But I mean I'm kinda grateful that it happened. It was kind of like a [clicks tongue] "you're at the Oscars" moment.

PS: Kind of like a pinch-me moment.

AC: Kind of, yeah! For the dress rehearsal the day before, everything was super heightened, and the shoes felt too tight. But the night of, it felt like a dream, so it was kind of a good little tap on the head to remind myself that it's real.

PS: How has your life changed since Moana?

AC: I've been able to travel the world! I've been to Singapore and London and New York. I have had the most amazing journey, I've been able to meet wonderful people across the globe, and I've learned so much. I was cast in Moana when I was 14, and I'm 16 now. I've been able to learn that it's really important to go on that journey and figure out who you are. I've been able to go on an incredible journey with Moana, with the film, like Moana does in our film. So, I mean, figuring out who you are takes time, but it's definitely well worth it.

PS: What's a secret about Moana that nobody knows?

AC: Well, I see myself as Moana, but I see myself more as her best friend. Because I'm able to root for her all the more. And I'm also able to kind of like look at her and realize just how amazing she is. And then, like I said, just cheer her on for the rest of eternity. Like, I can do that when I am the character, but I more so can do that when I'm her best friend.

PS: I love that. And you have a new show! Congratulations! What can you tell me about it?

AC: I'm absolutely thrilled. My character and the rest of the characters are high school students. It's called Drama High, and it's about these different people coming from very different walks of life and being brought together by theater. And it's beautiful, because that's what theater really does.

Sterling K. Brown Says William's Death Was Like Saying Goodbye to His Real Dad All Over Again

We were all heartbroken over William's death on This Is Us, but it was particularly emotional for Sterling K. Brown. While the actor is usually pretty private about his personal life, during a recent Q&A, he opened up about how William and Randall's father-son relationship really struck a chord with him. After losing his own dad, Sterling Brown, at age 10, he admitted that "saying goodbye to [William] was like saying goodbye to him all over again."

As a teenager, he actually changed his name from Kelby to Sterling to honor his father. "He gave me 10 of the best years that a kid could ever have," he told People. "And I never doubt that he loved me unequivocally, unconditionally. Oh he loved TV. He loved entertainment, and so the fact that I became an actor and this is what I do for a living, like I know he's smiling from ear to ear."

Kristen Stewart Reflects on Her Relationship With Robert Pattinson: "The Public Was the Enemy"

Kristen Stewart is known for being notoriously private about her love life, but it appears she's had a change of heart. The actress - who is currently dating model Stella Maxwell - recently sat down with The London Sunday Times and talked about how she's changed her outlook when it comes to her romantic relationships. "I didn't talk about my first relationships that went public because I wanted things that are mine to be mine," she explained. "I hated it that details of my life were being turned into a commodity and peddled around the world. But considering I had so many eyes on me, I suddenly realized [my private life] affects a greater number of people than just me. It was an opportunity to surrender a bit of what was mine, to make even one other person feel good about themselves."

Kristen famously dated Robert Pattinson while playing onscreen lovers in 2008's Twilight, but they eventually called it quits in 2013 after Kristen's cheating scandal with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Naturally, the relationship yielded plenty of public attention, to which Kristen added, "When I was dating Rob, the public was the enemy and that is no way to live. It wasn't this grand statement, 'I was so confused! Now I've realized who I am!' I have not been struggling." As for why Kristen recently decided to publicly come out as gay, she replied, "It just seemed important and topical." Well said, Kristen.

Kim Kardashian Shares Her First Photo With Baby Dream

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna welcomed their daughter, Dream, back in November, and now we're finally getting to see the adorable little one bond with her famous aunt Kim Kardashian. While we've been treated to so many cute photos of Dream from a few members of the Kardashian family, including Kim's sister Khloé and mom Kris Jenner, Kim has stayed pretty quiet since her birth. But that all changed on Tuesday when the reality star and mom of two posted a snap of herself bonding with her niece on Twitter. "Hey beautiful girl," she wrote. It's official: we're definitely going to need more of these moments.

I'm Hopelessly Addicted to Magnetic False Lashes (and Never Turning Back)

Guys, we need to have a talk about magnetic lash extensions. And by "a talk," I mean that I need to tell you how they're a f*cking godsend. I use them most times I wear makeup; basically, if you see me post a selfie anywhere, I'm probably wearing a pair of my magnetic falsies. I keep a pack of the lashes at my desk at work, I care for mine religiously at home, and I estimate that I've convinced at least 15 friends to buy their own pair. Considering the fact that many salons charge between $100 and $200 for lash extension treatments that only last a month, I feel obligated to share my experience with these reusable, easy-to-wear lash boosters. I've become something of a magnetic lash disciple.

Basically, if you see me post a selfie anywhere, I'm probably wearing a pair of my magnetic falsies.

When the producer of my weekly POPSUGAR Snapchat series, First Impression Friday, told me that I'd be trying magnetic eyelash extensions, I was nervous; I'd never even heard of magnetic lashes, let alone whether they were safe to use! But to make a long story short, the magnetic lash extensions from One Two Cosmetics ended up being my favorite product ever tested on First Impression Friday in over a year of shooting the Snap series - and I refused to part with them after we wrapped. I brought home the package of magnetic lashes and proceeded to wear them every single day for two weeks.

Like any self-respecting millennial, I took to social media to spread the word about the magnetic lashes, posting a blurb about them on my Instagram story. I received TONS of questions from friends and followers about the lashes, so I figured this review might be a good place to answer them! Read on for images of the lashes in action and answers to all the questions I've been asked since I began wearing the magnetic lash extensions.

Will Jack Die in the This Is Us Season Finale? It Could End on a Cliffhanger

We only have one week left until the This Is Us finale, and we're more worried now than ever. While Milo Ventimiglia (Jack) admitted that the season one finale will offer a lot of resolution, the rest of the cast has also teased that it will be "crushingly painful" and the most dangerous episode yet. So, what's the truth? Will Jack die in the finale? Or will we be left with even more questions than before? Well, it certainly sounds like the latter.

Let's look at the obvious here. To show Jack's death would mean we would finally learn how he died, which the show's creator, Dan Fogelman has already admitted won't happen right away. The series has also been picked up for two more seasons. Why would they chose to reveal such a pivotal moment now, when they can expand on it in future episodes? Of course, it's possible that the finale will flash-forward, showing the immediate aftermath of his death rather than the cause.

Then again, Mandy Moore recently revealed that the finale will center around Rebecca and Jack as the latter goes to make things right with his wife on the first night of her tour. What if the final scene is just Rebecca getting a phone call that Jack's plane has gone down? The "plane crash theory" makes a lot of sense, and tying it to Rebecca's tour would be even more tragic. It certainly wouldn't be the first time the show pulled a tragic twist, but it would be the most heartbreaking cliffhanger yet.

Should We Teach Our Kids to Respect the President Even If We Don't?

A fan of President Donald Trump I am not and never have been. My daughter was old enough to know that I supported Hillary Clinton and was devastated by her loss. But that ship has sailed, we have a new president, and I find myself in a unique position as a parent of an almost 6-year-old daughter, who up until now, I've always taught to respect her elders, her teacher, her principal, and our country's leaders.

But is this president, a man who seems intent on eroding some of our most cherished American values, someone I want to teach her to respect just because of his title? Yes, we're all in uncharted territory, watching a president who seems intent on stripping civil rights, ignoring our nation's founding principles of inclusion and opportunity for all, and attempting to scare our people into following his misguided lead; a president whose narcissism and small mindedness is truly terrifying to behold.

I, for one, am mad. Mad that we elected this person to the highest office in our land, mad that our senators and congressman aren't doing more to stop his agenda, mad that because of his position, so many good people are scared to go to work and school or travel to see their families because they aren't sure they'll be able to make it home, and in my mind, America is and always should be their rightful home.

But is the outrage I feel appropriate to communicate to or even understandable for my daughter? Will teaching her that the President of the United States is someone I consider to be a vastly unqualified, dangerous blowhard have long-term effects that I can't currently predict? I just don't know.

A friend of mine, who like pretty much everyone that I know (call it a bubble, but I like living here) feels the same way I do, recently taught her daughters, ages 2 and 4, to chant some silly, but timely mantras like "Dump Trump" and "We hate Trump." The sayings made her kids laugh and made her feel slightly better in a time that has seemed, to so many of us, rife with bad news and negativity.

When her husband came home from work that night, the girls wanted to show off their new cheer, but he was not amused and told my friend that even though neither of them voted for Trump, it was important to teach their daughters that they should have respect for our nation's president.

Hearing this story, I initially had to agree. I do want to teach my daughter to respect the president, but upon further thought, I decided what I really wanted was for us to have a president worthy of her respect. And because I don't think that's the case, I want her to know that it's our right and democratic duty to express resistance.

Respecting our leaders is important, but doing what's right is so much more so. There's not one ounce of me that thinks revoking an order that lets transgender students use the bathroom they feel comfortable in, choosing an education secretary who is totally unqualified, using language that makes every child and adult immigrant feel as if they're going to be hunted down and deported, using despicable words about women, enacting a travel ban based on religion, or constantly lying about how popular you are is in any, way, shape, or form acceptable.

These things are so grossly unacceptable, in fact, that even a child should know the difference.

And when the wrongs that this administration is enacting are eventually righted - and I have to believe that they will be - I want my daughter to know I was on the right side of history. That respect lesson? It can come when we have someone in power who deserves it.

I Had a Religious Experience in a Small Room With Ed Sheeran - and 400 Others

Ed Sheeran's new album, Divide, is currently one of the top albums in the US following its March 3 release - and I just watched him perform its hits in a room built for 400.

To say I'm a fan of Ed's is an understatement. I was studying abroad in the UK when his debut single, "The A Team," was released, then returned home that Summer to hear it blaring on US radio. I had swiftly become obsessed with him and his music, as did the rest of the world. I've followed him extremely closely throughout his entire career, and I maintain that he's the single most talented performer I've ever seen live. He's just one man, playing with one guitar and a loop pedal to hundreds of thousands of people.

Except for last night. No, last night it was just me, Ed, and 399 other people.

Although the humble 26-year-old got his start playing to small crowds in dive bars and clubs, he admitted on Monday night that it's been a very long time since he played a show quite so informal.

Following Divide's first single releases, it was announced that Ed would play a secret show in NYC on March 6 sponsored by Sirius XM, but thanks to a pretty packed schedule, that announcement slipped by me. However, my incredible boyfriend (who has now officially been given Saint status) knew all about it because it was going to be at his job, and knew that I'd need to be there.

Now, I've seen Ed ask over 20,000 people in his sold out Madison Square Garden audience to be silent so he could play "Tenerife Sea" acoustically, so I've obviously witnessed the man's ability to command a room. But nothing could prepare me for the intimacy of this secret show in The Studio at Webster Hall. Not only was I 10 feet away from him, I could hear his voice separate from the microphone's projection. Like we were having a conversation, just him and I.

He opened with his new single, "Castle on a Hill," configuring all the moving pieces of the song with his loop pedal. I couldn't even sing along; I was frozen in place, absolutely beaming while tears pooled in my eyes and slowly dripped down my cheeks. The overwhelming applause broke the spell, but as soon as he started playing "The A Team," I again reverted to the emotional being I am.

After watching him flawlessly perform a few more songs with a big smile split across his face, he began the opening to "I'm a Mess" - one of my favorites from his second album, Multiply - before promptly stopping. "I'm really not feeling the sound up here on the stage," he said.

He continued, informing the audience and the guys from Sirius XM who were recording the show that he wanted to play acoustically. Standing on a chair. In the middle of the small crowd. Two. Feet. Away from me.

I watched as my boyfriend's coworker pushed his way through the buzzing and anxious crowd with a chair over his head and set it down right next to me - suddenly Ed was there, right in front of me, even closer than before. I could see the sweat beading on his neck, the intricacies of each colorful tattoo on his forearms, his bright red stubble, and the clear blue of his irises. Never have I been so calm. Despite the crowd pushing around me and my inner voice encouraging me to freak the f*ck out, I couldn't.

Despite the crowd pushing around me and my inner voice encouraging me to freak the f*ck out, I couldn't.

Later my friends and family would shame me for not taking enough Snapchats and Instagram videos, but I did my best to explain that I just couldn't. I was there, with Ed Sheeran, and I would never, ever be so lucky as to get this close to him and his raw talent again, so I had to completely soak it in.

He asked for absolute silence, then restarted "I'm a Mess" as he circled on the chair (with impeccable coordination, might I add; I thought surely he'd get dizzy and stumble), and followed it with his favorite song off the new album, "Perfect." "I'm just going to play one more song down here, and then, since this is for radio, I've got to go back up there on stage," he said.

He then started softly singing "Supermarket Flowers" as the crowd let out sad sighs, and I cried for him over the loss of his grandmother, just as I would for a close friend. And as he wiped the sweat off his face once he finished, I was just close enough to tell in the dark that there may have been a few salty tears of his own in the mix. Knowing that he struggled with whether or not to put the devastating song on the album in the first place, hearing him play it for me felt like a vulnerable agreement between friends that we'd grieve for just a moment, then move on together to celebrate life.

"OK, I'm just going to play one more, and then, because this is for radio, I'll go back up there," he repeated as he pointed to the stage while everyone wiped at tears and giggled at his nonchalant "I do what I want" attitude. He chose to play the first song off Divide, "Eraser," complete with a new, freestyled third verse full of what felt like the most honest truths he's ever told so many people about his life, love, and the effects of fame.

Through the crowd's objections, he made his way back onto the small stage to play a brilliant mash up of Nina Simone's "Feeling Good" and his own "I See Fire," then capped off the short set with a new song, "What Do I Know?," asking the crowd to sing along and "never stop."

We could change this whole world with a piano
Add a bass, some guitar, grab a beat, and away we go
I'm just a boy with a one-man show
No university, no degree, but lord knows
Everybody's talking 'bout exponential growth
And the stock market crashing and their portfolios
While I'll be sitting here with a song that I wrote
Sing, love could change the world in a moment
But what do I know?

As he made his way off the stage, leaving us all to sing until our voices grew hoarse, I watched him put his hands together as if in prayer. It seems that for him, too, this tiny and humble New York basement show was a bit of a grounding, religious experience.

It's one I won't soon forget, despite the lack of Snapchats.

Hillary Clinton Agrees: Tory Burch's "Embrace Ambition" PSA Is Powerful as Hell

In honor of Women's History Month, the Tory Burch Foundation just launched a global campaign that's empowering as hell. Dubbed "Embrace Ambition," the initiative kicked off with a powerful PSA encouraging women to be persistent in chasing their goals and dreams. The inspiring video, which can be viewed above, is chock-full of celebrities, from entertainment stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Kerry Washington to fashion moguls like Anna Wintour and athletes like Gabby Douglas.

Founded by fashion designer and philanthropist Tory Burch in 2009 to encourage female entrepreneurs, the foundation and its latest initiative seek to spark conversation about the double standard that exists around ambition. Whereas the attribute is typically seen as positive among men, many view it as a negative quality when it comes to women. But Tory Burch is on a mission to prove that it's time to put this outdated stigma where it belongs - in the trash can.

The stars in the video aren't the only ones in favor of this movement. Hillary Clinton took to social media to show her support for the empowering campaign.

Anyone interested in taking the pledge to embrace ambition can upload their own photo to EmbraceAmbition.org, apply one of the filters, and share the image on social media to spread the word.

Paint Your Pout in These Powerful Lipsticks For International Women's Day

If you've been looking for a stylish yet powerful way to show off your feminist pride (for International Women's Day and beyond), you can easily do so with the help of Beautiful Rights, a chic cosmetics collection that supports women's rights.

The line was founded by makeup artist and product developer Kristen Therese Leonard, who wanted to create a line of products that empower and encourage women to continue the fight for their equality.

To honor that commitment, 20 percent of Beautiful Rights sales are donated to organizations that support women and human rights. Shoppers are given the opportunity to choose from organizations like Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, Emily's List, Lambda Legal, and Legal Momentum. The donation amount of 20 percent is also more than just a number. That statistic is representative of the gender wage gap: women are still making 20 percent less than men for doing the same jobs.

So far, the Beautiful Rights collection features three powerful lip essentials: "Gloss Ceiling," a shimmering nude lip gloss; "Pantsuit Pink," a rich berry lipstick; and "Politically Pout," a creamy peach hue. You can purchase each product individually or snag them in a set fittingly titled "Stronger Together." Each product is outfitted in sleek packaging featuring "fractured glass" art to symbolize how much women have already broken the glass ceiling. Gals of all skin tones can also expect flattering color payoff with each lipstick, as the three hues are incredibly universal.

Snapping up one (or all) of these gorgeous products is the prettiest way to show off your nasty woman pride while giving back to causes close to your heart. We'll definitely be rocking these colors all March long for Women's History Month and International Women's Day, but you can snag the feminist collection for yourself now at BeautifulRights.com.

Ian Somerhalder Credits This 1 Machine For Helping Him Land Wife Nikki Reed

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have been an adorable couple for a few years now, and during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, The Vampire Diaries star revealed exactly how he got Nikki to fall for him - well, sort of. While talking about his hyperbaric chamber (a body "chamber that you zip yourself into and it's connected to an oxygen concentrator"), Ian explained, "I put Nikki in it on our second date . . . All I'm saying is 10 months to the day, we were married." Maybe we should invest in a hyperbaric chamber, too?

15 Sanity-Saving Lies Moms Tell Their Kids

The truth: sometimes moms have to lie in order to stay sane. Our kids are tiny, constantly question-asking, request-making machines that drive us to stretch, bend, and totally ignore the truth; sometimes so we can get them to do what we want them to do, other times just to get them to shut up for longer than 20 seconds.

Let's just play through what actually telling the truth to your 4-year-old would look like when she asks you, for example, where you've put that glitter-covered snowman she made in preschool two months ago. "Well, honey, it was messy and didn't really look like a snowman, so when you weren't looking, I threw it in the trash, so by now it's probably pretty deep in a landfill." Her reaction is not going to be pretty. So moms lie because our kids can't always handle the truth, and honestly, neither can we.

Here are 15 fibs you'll regularly hear moms telling, without a single regret.

  1. The lie: What I'm eating is super spicy.
The truth: I really don't want to share it with you, so stop eyeing it, okay?
  2. The lie: I'll look for that craft you made last week.
The truth: It's been in the garbage since you went to sleep that night.
  3. The lie: I have to go make dinner/clean something/fold laundry.
The truth: Mommy needs some alone time, so please don't follow me.
  4. The lie: Your favorite shirt is dirty.
The truth: I can't stand seeing you in that Batman tee one more day in a row.
  5. The lie: Starbucks only serves adults and only sells adult drinks.
The truth: Coffee is vital. Frappuccinos and cake pops are not, so I'm not going to be the one to introduce you to them (nor am I spending $6 on a coffee-free drink you'll take two sips of).
  6. The lie: I have the police and your teacher on speed dial.
The truth: I have tried every other tactic to get you to behave, so now I'm just going to scare the sh*t out of you.
  7. The lie: The ice cream shop/toy store/park is closed.
The truth: I don't have the energy to fight with you about why we can't go to the ice cream shop/toy store/park right now, or possibly, I just don't want to go.
  8. The lie: We'll do that tomorrow.
The truth: I would like you to stop talking now, and I'm hoping you'll forget about whatever you're asking to do by tomorrow.
  9. The lie: That thing you're doing is illegal.
The truth: I don't want to be the bad guy, and I really just want you to put your seat belt on or stop attempting to stand on a restaurant table or run into the parking lot by yourself, so . . . police.
  10. The lie: Your Elf on the Shelf didn't move because you were bad yesterday.
The truth: I f*cking forgot to move it because you exhausted me yesterday.
  11. The lie: Your iPads are dead and Netflix isn't working.
The truth: It's bedtime, not screen time, little people.
  12. The lie: They won't let us come back to this restaurant if you run/scream/fight.
The truth: I guess this could be true, but more likely, I just want you to stop acting like a lunatic and start behaving so I can drink my glass of wine in peace.
  13. The lie: If you don't brush your teeth, they'll fall out and you won't be able to eat ever again.
The truth: I've asked you to brush your teeth 20 times and you still haven't done it.
  14. The lie: I will take away your iPad forever if you keep acting like this.
The truth: I will never permanently take away your iPad, as doing so would punish me way more than you.
  15. The lie: I'm the boss; you are not in charge in this house.
The truth: Man, I wish that was actually true.

Abandoned Dog With a Wonky Face Is in Search of His New Forever Home

Pablo and Picasso are just like any other pupper brothers. They're adorable, they're playful, and they're lovable. But whereas Pablo is your standard Corgi mix, Picasso is a bit unique. Due to a birth defect, he was born with a slightly crooked face, causing his breeder to toss him out. Luckily, both dogs found their way to Luvable Dog Rescue in Oregon where they've been heaped with love by staff and volunteers, including the shelter's executive director Liesl Willhardt.

After Willhardt contacted the Porterville Animal Shelter in California in search of special-needs dogs she could bring to her rescue, she found Pablo and Picasso, who were both on the euthanasia list. Now that they're both in Oregon, they're being taken care of and getting some vet work done before being put up for adoption. It should come as no surprise that everyone has been reaching out to Luvable Dog Rescue to see about bringing these boys home, but the shelter has decided to get Picasso through some dental surgery and recovery before they make that call.
