Ellen Pompeo Gets Brutally Honest About Patrick Dempsey's Departure on Grey's Anatomy
Ellen Pompeo thinks Grey's Anatomy is doing just fine without Patrick Dempsey. The actress stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday and got brutally honest about his character's devastating death and the fate of the show. "It's amazing how much you get done without a penis," she told the host before adding, "We miss him dearly, but yeah, the show is doing very well." Even though there were rumors that Dempsey's exit signaled the end of the show, Pompeo confirmed that is simply not true. "No, it's not the last season. I think a lot of people were really upset about his departure, which is super understandable, but I think the change is part of the reason why the show goes on so long."
