Despite what some believe, fashion is far from superficial. Pulling on a flattering dress or curve-hugging jeans and knowing you look good? That's something that can totally change your mood, confidence, even the way you stand - and perhaps no one knows that better than Emma Stone. When the star stepped out on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival, promoting her new film La La Land you could tell she was feeling her green and pink floral dress. The way she positioned her hands, that subtle little leg pop - those poses pretty much proved what we immediately saw: this piece was perfect for Emma.

Still, it wasn't just the breezy designs and ruffled details that made us love Emma in this look. The colors also suited her fair skin and red hair, and the cognac shoes were an A+ choice, making just enough of a statement while acting as a neutral.
