Every Star Wars Fan Will FREAK Out Over This Levitating Phone Charger
Guys, the Force is real. A wireless levitating phone charger, called OvRcharge, is on Kickstarter and we want to get it ASAP.
According to the campaign page, "Magnetic force is used to counteract the effects of the gravitational acceleration and any other accelerations," lifting your device midair above the platform. And guess what? It spins, too! The best part is that once your phone (or tablet) is fully charged, it will still continue to float and rotate.
Pledges range from $5 (to get on the backers list) to $2,099 (comes with 10 complete kits), depending on which products you want. So far, the gadget has 97 backers and has raised nearly $22,000 since the time of writing. AR Designs has until Aug. 18 to reach its goal of $30,885, but who wouldn't be down for a levitating charger?
See how it works ahead and don't be surprised if you back it on Kickstarter immediately.
