Everything You Thought You Knew About Jared Leto and His Gucci Coat Was a Lie
Jared Leto's one of the most stylish men in Hollywood, so we weren't surprised to spot him on the Suicide Squad red carpet in this Gucci jacket. It debuted on the runway weeks ago, where Jared had a front-row seat, and his reaction to the look was quite enthusiastic. So enthusiastic, in fact, that it resulted in an internet meme:

Of course, the fashion world was psyched to see Jared wear designer Alessandro Michele's jacket right away. It was love at first sight! Not so fast. Jared revealed to Vanity Fair that he wasn't as overwhelmingly excited by the kelly green piece as it appears:
"The thing about the photo is - I'm going to be honest with you - I was actually making a face at someone across the runway. I have that feeling with most things [Gucci] makes because they make such beautiful things. But I was actually goofing off with a friend, and you can't actually tell from the picture . . . Sorry to ruin your meme. Perception versus reality," he said.
Despite the disappointing truth, there's no denying Jared completely rocks the double-breasted silhouette, complete with pink trousers and the brand's iconic loafers. Read on to get in on the Gucci hype.
