Exclusive! See Swatches of Too Faced's Merry Macaron Palette

Too Faced started blowing the minds and stealing the hearts of beauty-loving foodies everywhere when it launched its cocoa-infused (and -scented) bronzer in 2012. From there, the brand moved on to chocolaty compacts and peachy keen products. Now, for its limited-edition holiday palette with Ulta Beauty, Too Faced is giving us a vanilla-fragranced, macaron-themed palette.

Merry Macarons is a pop-up style palette that is inspired by Christmas in New York City. Open the case and you'll find a cartoon girl - accompanied by the Too Faced co-founders' dog, Clover - ice skating in Rockefeller Center. Instead of the iconic pine, there's a tree made of macarons beside a vendor selling the sweet treat.

The products are just as fun. A deluxe-sized Better Than Sex Mascara complements the 12 full-sized, exclusive shadows. There are soft pastels, mid-toned neutrals, a few smoky shades, and a vibrant purple that are all generously dosed with the aroma of a vanilla cookie. There's a healthy mix of shimmers and mattes, but we found that the finish didn't affect the formula. Each swipe looked creamy and pigmented.
