This 15-Year-Old Special Effects Makeup Artist Just Won Halloween
It isn't unusual for teens to love dressing up for Halloween, but one high school student is taking it to the next level with her unbelievable makeup looks. Kate Werner, known as beautygonebad on Instagram, is a 15-year-old self-taught makeup artist with serious skills. She re-creates popular TV characters, monsters, and comic book characters using special effects makeup and body paint to create the character's costumes. She refers to herself as a "makeup shape shifter," and a single look can take up to 10 hours to complete. Her looks are so convincing, you might do a double take!
